Ways to play NBA 2k9

We should share ways to play nba 2k9. Fun ways i meant. I'm still trying to figure out a fun way for me to play fun simulation basketball. What I'm adjusting is to not call too many plays during game cuz that will slow down tempo and have low scoring which i don't like. so i would say like 3 to 4 plays per game is good enuff. don't call too many picks and screens. don't try to dunk too much. how many times should try to drive in hmmm....how bout 5-8 times. gonna keep playin to see wat i come up with. i tried to use player-lock and notice it is easier to play simulation basketball using player-lock.

I love arcade Thats why I love Live more than 2k. But calling plays is still cool. The defense can do nothin about it. Sim isnt always fun since it real business not fun with your buddies

I like playing sim myself, i just play the way i see the game being played it real life. Not sprinting the ball up the court each possession and not dropping 60 points a game with one player. Theres no real tricks i have for playing good simulation basketball on NBA 2K9, all i can say is adjust the sliders to make the game enjoyable for yourself.

It depends for me. Sometimes I play arcade and enjoy the back and forth dunk/3pt/steal/block fest, but other times I like to slow it up and get the satisfaction out of running a play correctly or just getting my player that open mid range jumpshot. I usually have stretches of dunks, 3 pointers, steals, or stops during each game, but it doesn't always work in my favor. I like to vary it between sim and arcade because if I play one way the entire game, it gets boring and the AI adapts to it pretty well so I have to change it up atleast once per quarter.
