The CREEPIEST render of Josh Smith in ANY NBA video game! (ESPN NBA 2K5)

Man, this is the CREEPIEST render of Josh Smith aka J-Smoove in ANY NBA video game with him in it, This barely resembles him at the time of the game's release at all, this is in ESPN NBA 2K5 (my favorite 2K, also based on the 2004-05 season, his rookie season), This render of him actually looks like he's gonna kill someone (the crime murder), The eyes look sinister, the eyebrows look sinister the frown looks sinister, he never looked like that irl, he also has no portrait (seen in one of the pics attached)

Original XBOX version shown but render looks the same on the PS2 version.

(Note: He wears #42 by default on this game but is wearing #5 in this bc I used a DLC roster I slightly modified and added his gear since the DLC rosters did change his number but didn't add his gear so I added it though it's possible to get him to wear his proper #5 on the default roster as I have done it before with a trick I will mention in the future, he WAS gonna wear #42 but when Kevin Willis resigned with the Hawks in 2004, Josh Smith changed his number to #5 before the season began to respect Kevin Willis)

Opinions on this render?

Oddly sinister for sure. They did him a little dirty there, in a game that otherwise has some excellent faces.

Of course, Kevin Durant in NBA 2K9 has a case for one of the most unflattering likenesses to date:

Yeah, Here's J-Smoove, the 2005 NBA Slam Dunk champion in the Playstation 2 version of ESPN NBA 2K5 (Taken in PCSX2) Image

And don't forget his eyebrows are wrongly positioned, making them look angry and that sinister frown too, his calm face NEVER looked like that, even at the time, he's not even on the unlockable Rookies team

Ik this is an old post but I have to post this, Here's J-Smoove's render on NBA 2K6, It's an improvement as it no longer looks sinister, looks like how Josh Smith looked like when he was younger, eyebrows, eyes and mouth are no longer sinister and is no longer doing that sinister frown he never had, only flaw that prevents it from being perfect is that the jaw is a little too narrow, but still an improvement.

(I actually have a Josh Smith Atlanta Hawks jersey of the team's 2004-2007 home uniform btw.)

Definitely an improvement. His hair is better as well.

Yeah but sometimes, Josh Smith actually had his hair like what he had on 2K5 in real life when he was younger, seen several pictures with his hair like that from actual games

True. Hair can quickly become outdated in games.
