Well we will not have the type of support to the graphics side that we did with all the EA supported programs but if we work together we can make 2k very customizable.

Andrew, You should make this acconcement in the main page of nba-live.com , but it's mostly a NBA LIVE site, but it'll be great if everyone else knew (Y)

Yeah it will take awhile til we can patch everything, if we can do it at all. The good thing is that this is 2k we are talking about here. You had to mod the shit out of Live just to make it even halfway playable while NBA 2k is fun right out of the box.

We only need patches for those terrible games like NBA live 08 so why should we make patches for NBA 2k9 PC Version if it turns out to be as good as the X-Box version?

If nothing else, to add new and missing players, update rosters, add special or historical teams and so on. Patching has never just been about fixing problems.

Maybe texmod? I used it for a couple of games now. Very effective only slows down the game a bit

Yeah we can use texmod if we really want to make a texture mod. Only thing is the people have to use it to apply the mod, which isn't really a big deal. I am guessing that naything you can save in the game, like rosters, replays, settings, and associations can be exchanged.

Applying could be a problem. I had it with Assassins Creed. For some people didnt work because of different versions (Patch-and Language versions and most important DX10/9 ) and it doesnt seem to work with Vista.
But I´ve no idea what to edit since it looks so gorgeous

I installed 2K9 on PC today and gotta say all settings to max and at 1920/1200 it plays smooth as and looks amazing as in those pics above. Only gripe is no direct ip connect, I don't care about all the lobby bullshit just an option to ip connect would have been nice. If any modders out there can find a way for it to happen that would be great but I'm sure it's a long shot anyways.
