Players.dbf abbreviations

I am trying to edit the player ratings in the Players.dbf file but the abbreviations for the categories appear to be confusing.

Is there a key that someone has posted listing what each one is?

Why are there multiples of each player in the Players.dbf file. If I try to edit Kevin Durant or Dirk Nowitzki I get two or four guys with that name.

That's because they are in more than 1 teams. Dirk for example is on the Mavs, the All-Star Team, Germany and the Euros(<-- Is the European All-Star team still in Live 08?)

Those teams were removed in favour of the FIBA teams.
