Is the game already available from EA Direct Download?

Did anybody try to buy it that way? is it already playable?

No, PC version isn't out yet.

Now just XBOX 360 and Ps3 versions are available.

It looks like its available now cause this morning i looked and it says p reorder 30th October now it has disappeared.

it come out on 30th. i paid $39.99+5.95 extended download. tryed to download it this morning and it said releasing date 28 days. i think that was just a PRE RELEASE.

the download isnt available until oct. 30. the ea website says it's available for download but when you go to download it, it says you have to wait until oct. 30. hopefully EA will allow me to cancel the order, because if i have to wait until the in-store release date i'll just go to wal-mart and save a few bucks.

- on the first page, where you select the game it clearly says: "available as direct donwload - ADD TO CART", whereas for other games like Fifa 08 it says "avaliable as direct download - PRE-ORDER".

- when you go to cart, on the "availablity" field it clearly says "downloadable".

Are you telling me that EA is stealing my money without telling me that I will have to wait 30 DAYS????

Yeah, well, it wouldn't be the first time EA did something that was questionably "legal". Hell, NBA LIVE 07 should have been outlawed as flawed as it was.

This board has been good lately but I remember last year when Live came it it was hostile.

I know that. I think my last post in this forum was in october 2006 and it was probably a disgusted post against the game and the way EA was handiling the realese of the much needed 07 patch.

Anyway, when I see little tricks like this, I feel like posting again. I was willing to give them another chance with this year game, trying to look at it without prejudice. But if they keep playing tricks to customers I'm not gonna give them one single cent.

What a poor and questionable business ethic. Do they really need to gain interests from the money we pay in advance?

Yeah, that wouldn't be a good idea. I think a few people have already ventured down that street and got screwed by EA. EA is in the business of fucking... fucking people out of their money. They are very good at it.

well when i bought my download, first it said the same thing to me i coudlnt download it til the 30th. so i did is set my cpu date to the 30th and downloaded it, however, it gave me a decryption error. so the game is PRELOADED on my pc. files are there they cant be decrypted til the 30th. and i know on commericals and nba live's own website it said for all platforms in stores oct. 2.

Try switching net off than set it to 30th.
