live is out! and it wasnt out for me!

Some stores do not understand the concept of a "release date" so it is possible to buy games when stores get them in. A number of people already have 2K8 as well.

This game has some really long loading times unless its just my 360 which I've never had problems with

yeah, I'd imagine it wouldn't be a large store that would do that. I know if you work at a company like best buy, circuit city, eb games, etc they already have the game in the back they just can't put it on the shelves until the release date or whatever, i mean the game is only less than a week away.

If you work at one of those places it's possible to get a copy of the game early depending on how nice your manager is, if he's a prick and he hates you he may make you wait until it's on the shelves

I heard some Wal-Mart's already have it out, I'm gonna go check some tomorrow.

just checked walmart.com and they are offering shipping that would get you the game on Monday. dunno if it's worth the shipping costs.

I can't say for sure but it seems unlikely. The PC version certainly won't be available that early.

Andrew have you played the final version, can you confirm the slow loading just to start a game because it usually takes around 2 minutes.

The game is out at a lot of places. I scored a copy of this at
WalMart last night. I was also luckily enough to get NBA2K8 at Gamestop/EB games of all places. Guy hadno clue about street date. Peace!!!!

A lot of wal-marts have the release date for NBA Live 08 for the 360 listed as 9/26 on the shelves.

THat said, most of them have figured out their error and have pulled the games back off the shelf.
