Release mod with modified exe?

The once famous Japanese comic (manga) "Slam Dunk" will release a new animated movie in December this year.

I have personally made some modification to the SlamDunk09 mod that I'm not sure if I can release it. Modifications:
- changed all fictional Chinese player names to Japanese.
- modified exe so config and save game will store in a different folder "SLAMDUNK LIVE" (exe is based on NBA ACTION 14).
- changed roster of west and east all star team:
-- east is now kanagawa all star.
-- west is national all star including Akita, Aichi, Osaka, Shizuoka.
-- both teams now only include players that appeared in original comics.

To make install easier, I hope I can release the mod as a standalone package that excluding audio files. You will need to copy these files from your NBA Live 08 game to mod. This way it will only work if you have original NBA live 08.

Would love that for Slam Dunk mod. Also I'm hyped for the movie this year. Been a long time coming but worth the wait.
