08 Dynasty team

I will use Portland, Seattle, Boston, or Charlotte.
and although I am a raps fan, last year the raps were really boring to play with in Live except for STREET 07

yes and yes meaning in a heart beat in real life and in video life as well.

so i am still up in the air now. i mean, i could trade pierce and allen and get oden and durant, probably also get green and someone from portland too. however i dont know if i should. i think i might actually play season 1 with minimal trades. atleast thats how i feel right now. by the time the game ships i may want to send allen right back to seattle and get durant in boston where he belongs. then i can go and send pierce to portland and get oden in boston.

oh well like i said i will probably go with the team as is for season 1, with my only trades being to dump salary or get a draft pick from another team. hopefully the computer is even more lax this year with trading draft picks. would like to get atleast 2 picks in round 1.

personally i just want to be able to create a team, pick a city, logo, name, so forth, then start with a expansion draft. would love something like that

i agree 100%. i think that would be the best thing they could do to the dynasty, to build a team from the ground up would be incredible. but i doubt they will do that unless it is already in there plan

Now that the Celtics have Allen, getting Oden and Durant could be a little easier so long as you're still willing to give up Pierce as well.

Philadelphia is the best, but MILICIC is my favourite. Kevin Durant will be great.

right now i have 2 thoughts, keep pierce allen and jefferson, and build around those 3, or trade allen and pierce for oden and durant and maybe some other rookies as i am sure pierce and allen will be above those 2.

if i go with option 1 i will try my best to make a trade with any other team useing anyone not including the 3 mentioned so i can have atleast 1 of the rookies.

if i go option 2 i will try to get a 5 rookie starting lineup in i can.

i will probably flip flop between these 2 thoughts several times right up until the game is in my hands

You could always choose to hold the Draft again and give the Celtics the #1 pick.

I'll probably play a few dynasties.

The Clippers: Al Thorton has a KILLER mid range pull up, step back, and pretty good turn around fade away. I hope the game represents that. Also looks like Francis is joining too so, should be a fun team to play.

Atlanta Hawks: Young exciting team. I can mold the team, so that's appetizing.

Bulls: Deng, Hinrich, Gordon, and now Noah.

Would definently go with Memphis now. The idea of having Gay, Gasol, Darko, Miller, Conley, Warrick, Swift, Kinsey, Lowry etc. as a starting point is great. So much potential to develop.

I will do Memphis as my West team, and as expected the Bucks for my East team.

Im gonna use Atlanta as my East team and Denver my West. Horford is one of my favourite rookies and Josh Smith is also great to play with.

I will probably go with the Nets again, but i'm also a Knicks fan since i live in NY. But the Nets are coming here for 2010 season so that works out too.

I must play with Milicic and Durant in one team. but Philadelphia{my favourite} will be the worst team in NBA 08 an it is great challenge.

each year in live i run a sim for every team in the nba. i pick the number of years to play and use for every team. then i keep track of a bunch of different stats cause i am a nerd like that and see who i did the best with over the years(i tend to set the years at or near the max). when i ran the sim last year i redid the draft every time but kept the order as is. i am sure i will do the same again this year.

however if i did take the cheap route i could have oden,allen,and pierce and easily trade for durant who would have to be the best 6th man to ever play the game lol.

Atlanta might be a popular team this year with all thier young guys. i myself plan to take thier young guys and give them crap. i see atlanta as my dumping team in 08. a few years ago it was the clippers when they had all that cap room and so many young talented players. plus for some reason keith closs was amazingly good in one of those games.

if the Garnett goes down for the Celtics then I'm definity picking Boston. a lineup of Perkins/Garnett/Pierce/R.Allen/ West will be nasty. I pretty much am going with the Celtics but Garnett coming to Boston will make it definite for me.

ok andrew, i now got my game plan for my nba live season. i am going to of course keep the 3, not worry about oden or durant, instead i will only make 1 trade that will bring in at least 1 rookie from another team to be my pet project. not sure who i will get or who i can get with what i got left lol, but i will make 1 deal to give me 1 rookie to try and mold then roll with the big 3.
