Any honest Live fan would tell you 07 was an insult to NBA Live fans everywhere. Many of us were driven away to 2K7. It was THAT freaking bad.
This is why it's a question now to many of us. We don't want to get fooled again.

we all know live 07 didnt live up to its hype but
we are talking about live 08 and the disgruntled
2k fans. we already know live 07 was a bad game and 2k7
was not perfect it was average

Yeah, I agree. . .but when there's only two Real competitors in making basketball games. you will play the better one more, even if the better one is average!!! Since playin 2k7, I don't mind it at all, both games have their ups and downs, it's just a matter of which game you'd rather play. . .in my case this year and last year is NBA 2k. It doesn't make me less of an NBA Live fan. . I know Live's potential, it's just not living up to my expectations in the next gen!! When it does, I will support it. Cause after 06 and 07, I expect this game to be movin in the right direction, and it is. Which is why I haven't gave up on the game

Judging from the trailers only(gameplay footage), Live has better sig jumpers and graphics IMO.I like player models better than i 2k8.But man, does 2k8 looks good.Variety of layups and offensive moves looks alot more fluid and realistic than ones in Live.Just finished watching Ultimate fan trailer #3 for 2k8, and im stunned.That looks helluva good.

YOU KNOW WHAT I TAKE EVERYTHING I SAID BACK. I JUST GOT MY COPY OF 2K8 AND IT IS NOT GOOD. ONLINE SUCKS, PRACTICE IS A DRAG, CANT POST MSG IN CHAT BOX.
I HOPE 2K IS MAKING A PATCH OR SOMETHING TO FIX THIS BECAUSE IF NOT THEN I AM RETURNING IT. AND IM ACTUALLY THINKING OF BUYING LIVE, BECAUSE THIS 2K IS A DOWNGRADE FROM LAST YEAR.
