NBA LIVE 08 have legends?

Hi all I just bought a ps3 and I'm wondering does this game have legends like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson? I'm a long time player of the live series all the way back to the ps1. I always remembered that the old games had almost all the legend besides Jordan and Sir Charles. I have been looking for info for this on websites but found no answer. Maybe someone here with the nba live version for ps3 can let me know whats up before I buy this game.

Nevermind. On page 6 some guy asked the same question as I and a moderater told him that nba live 08 does not have legends for the 360 or ps3 version. http://www.nbaliveforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=53167

I wonder why they would remove a feature that has been in nba live for sooo long. If I had to pick the reason it would be because they needed room in the game for the international teams which will improve profits from people in europe to buy this game.

NBA Live 09 will not include Legends. Presumably this is due the lack of sufficient licensing rights resulting in the absence of several superstar players from the 90s.

Well if they don't have the rights I can understand that situation.

But hey if EA was smart they'd increase the number of CAP's included with the game.

I want 200 CAP's and I'll take care of the legend players myself....

I haven't been able to move forward with rosters for a legend file in like 2 years now because of the CAP limitations.

Hell they could do like NCAA Football and just let us change the BIO information of all the existing players and then I could use them as the legends players.

I have been sitting on rosters for two years now for every team and can't use them becuase of this problem. We have Next GEN Systems and yet we can't do things that was possible on the older versions of Live.
