Is the game already available from EA Direct Download?

chefk out what these lying, cheating bastards at EA told me when I submitted a request for a refund because I couldn't download the game yet:

the download manager DOES connect. my date and time IS correct. it says October 3rd 8:25 AM. That is the correct date and time. THe game will not download. If I move the date up to Octber 31st the game will download. That proves the download manager connects and that I cant download it until the 31st. But they are telling me I can download it now? HA! What a joke EA is.

I emailed them back demanding a refund and complaining about their misleading and illegal business practices. I told them if my order is not cancelled or refunded that I am going to contest my charge on the basis of their misleading and illegal business practices. Contesting the charge is going to cost them more money than if they refund/cancel it, so maybe that will get them listening since all they apparently care about is getting money out of you then screwing you over.

That's pretty much what happened last year. The PC version could be pre-ordered through the EA Downloader service but wasn't available until the release date.

by the way it's true, they cannot say the downloadable version is ready, then the downloader says you must wait 30 days....that's stealing money, i sent a email to ea support, asking them why they are doing this...i'm curious to see how they'll answer

The PC version of the game will be in stores on October 30 in North America .

It doesn't matter whether you can download it now or not, you won't be able to play the game till the 30th anyways.

If I move the date on my computer up to October 31st then I can download it, keep it the current date I can't. I want my order cancelled or refunded or I am going to contest the charge on my credit card on the basis of illegal and misleading business practices. I don't appreciate being lied to by you and the website. If the game isn't available to download then the website shouldn't tell me it's available for download. It's ILLEGAL.

still no dice, i tried to TURN MY INTERNET OFF and try to install, tells me "please check your internet connection your pc appears to be offline". so u HAVE to be connected to even attempt to install the game. i still get the decryption error. first, ea F____ed us up with a lemon in 07 that took the help of dozen of NLSC people like loguga, looser, andrew etc. to remodel this whole live 07 deal. now, they giving different release dates and everything and cost me $45.94 for something i have to wait for 30 days for? that's F____ED up man. just like buying baseball season tickects in december and have to wait til april to use them.

There is no sense in trying to install the game a month before the release date, unless you can hack the decryption process. So there is no need to get bent out of shape. It has been known for quite some time that the PC version will not be released till later on this month.

The retail version needs to have the DVD's pressed, the box art and manuals need to be printed, and then they need to be shipped. I guess since people can download it already then we can put to rest that talk about EA testing or putting more work into it.

Why even pre-order the game? One thing I have learned after Live 07 and MOH:Airborne is never get an EA game until reviews or patches come out.

Did it mention anywhere that the downloadable version was still a pre-order? If not, that's certainly a detail they need to make clear before proceeding with the transaction.

You make some mistake then, look you have to put computer same date as on the site www.eastore.com(date & time) . BTW release date is 31 oct

look, i tried all that shit man. i shut down ea, CHANGED THE DATE TO THE 31ST, AND RESTARTED MY CPU AND EA DOWNLOADER. STILL GET THE DECRYPT ERROR. HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET SO WHAT DAM SENSE DOES IT MAKE TO KEEP TRYING THE SHIT AND WE KNOW IT WONT DECRYPT TIL THE 30TH?? HELLO???
