Eddie Griffin is in this game.
apparently being dead doesn't mean you cant still be signed onto a team. he's in the free agent pool, and ready to play.

apparently, Penny Hardaway is worse than dead... he isnt in the game.
first Michael Vick... now this.... speaking of which,

will there be a roster update on xbox live before the season starts?

It's probably due to an early cutoff date. He might be removed in subsequent roster updates.

theres probably alot of changes that havent been made to the rosters to make them up to date

Why take him out? Just leave him in the game!!! Does anyone know if EA can fix AI issues and post files on the Xbox Live Market? lol, that would be nice

It looks as though he was removed by the October 4th roster update.

Possibly...I believe they attempted to do that for Madden 08 but as I understand it the update caused more problems than it solved.
