Re: Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty - Madness in Philadelphia!?!?!

Westbrook Finals MVP. Nice

I think you drafted really well. Especially with Russell and all the best big men already gone. Oubre has been a great bench scorer for me on my Sixers game.

Speaking of the Sixers, how is their roster looking now? Adding Gasol, Ellis and Lin to their young core should easily put them into the playoff spots in the east.

I almost shat my pants when I saw Gasol and Ellis in the 76ers. Philadelphia seemed to let go of most of their players like Sampson, Richardson, etc.
They also have 3 rookies (Kristaps,Harrison, Staten) and 2 sophomores (Embiid/Noel). Like wtf 2k.

very young team, I think Nick Young should come off the bench due to his ability to provide bench scoring at the 2 position. Also that would allow Oubre or Johnson to develop quicker.

Well, I have started the association and now in my 8th game but yeah, I'll try to swap their roles.

Nick Young looks to be the most consistent scorer. I think of Nick Young as a guy who shoots more than he drives so you may be able get the scoring of some of your young guys like Mudiay, Johnson, and Oubre up by having those guys slashing through the lane for closer shots or Alley oops. Just a thought.

Not sure if this is accurate for your team but, I think Whiteside would be able to slow down opponents looking looking to score in the lane. He could also be useful on Pick and rolls to the hoop for easy layups.

Re: Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty [4-7] - Lakers sign DeMarre Carroll

Postby Kevin on Sun Jun 14, 2015 5:45 pm

Lakers sign DeMarre Carroll

Image

El Segundo, Calif. – The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled in defense since the start of the season.

They are currently last in Points Allowed in the Paint, Opponent Field Goal % and in Opponent Fastbreak Points per Game.

They announced today that they will sign Forward DeMarre Carroll to a 2 year, $4.85M deal.

Carroll is still injured at this time and his timetable to return is still in 2 months. He was injured in last year’s playoffs in the Quarter Finals against the Miami Heat when he tore his ACL in Game 5.

The Lakers are hoping that by the time Carroll can come back, he'll be ready to contribute in the defense.
