Greats vs Greats||A Fantasy Association

Postby Bella on Mon Sep 23, 2013 11:02 am

It is the year 2064, and the NBA is failing.

With people getting lazier, and lazier, there are less and less recruits every year.

Many teams have folded, or are going to collapse soon. There are no more stars in the NBA, and basketball has become America's biggest joke.

Desperate, the NBA Commissioner, Aaron Stern, uses technology to the league's advantage. Time machines have been around since 2037, and he does the unthinkable.

Aaron Stern restored the NBA's all time greatest players, and brought them into the present.

But he couldn't put them on their old teams, because there would be too many players. So everyone was redrafted, and dynasties were set to unfold.

Settings

Game: NBA 2K13
Difficulty-Pro (I haven't been able to play for a few months, so I suck. Difficulty level will be subject to change. Soon, I'll be playing All-Star)
System: PC (Other mods and sliders may be used in the future)
Team: Miami Heat (This was a random selection, and then 2K determined the draft order. Luckily, I got the 1st pick overall)
Player Roles: Off (Chemistry plummets, too many good players on one team)
CPU Trades: On
Season Length: 82 games
Quarter Length/Sim Quarter Length: 12 minutes for sim game, 12 minutes for actual games
Injuries: On
Sliders: Default, no changes made
NLSC Draftees: No, subject to change
Team Chemistry: Off (With too many superstars, it's hard to get chemistry above 70)

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Heat win close game, Maravich drops record 61 points, Magic near quadruple-double

Today was a day for Miami fans! Boston and Miami had an amazing game. Magic Johnson was the Player Of The Game, with an almost video-game like statline!35 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists, 8 steals, and 2 blocks. "Pistol" Pete Maravich, not to be outdone, had a historical game of his own, with 61 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists, and a block. An all around great day to be a Heat fan, and a game to be remembered. However, even with the amazing games by both Maravich and Johnson, Michael Jordan's Celtics were in the game until the very end. Until the last 10 seconds, the game was tied, when Horace Gran hit a shot that stopped the game from going into overtime and gave Miami the win!

Next game-Miami takes on Tony Parker and Bill Russell's New York Knicks in the MSG.
