Out of those two, I'd take Faried all day, every day as well. Robinson is over-powered in 2K, but I'm not complaining.

Just caught up with this. Great story going, dude! Glad to see T-Rob playing above and beyond expectations. You should be primed to win a playoff series if you can get back on track.

A slump is expected of the Rockets since they go through more than necessary throughout every season in real life. :P No surprise to see Harden playing well, but Robinson! Hopefully that win against the Nuggets gets you guys back on track. (Y)

Rockets blow-out Heat in Miami, revenge earlier loss

James Harden followed his 44-point, 7 3-pointers night against the Nuggets with 46 points and 6 threes in less then 24 hours against the Miami in South Beach while leading the visitors to a 16-point win.

A good payback for a loss earlier on in the season, when the visiting Heat beat the Rockets 120-112, led by Wade's 39 points and LeBron's 28 points and 11 assists.

This time, the duo combined for 55 points and 6 assists, compared to 68 points and 15 assists last time around. Also the Heat got much less from their supporting cast, apart from recent acquisition Kirk Hinrich.

The Rockets won their 31st game of the year and have four more games before the All-Start break and look to close out the first half of the season on a high note.

While Harden has been very impressive the past two games (45 ppg, 5,5 apg, 4 rpg, 67% FG, 56% 3PT), Jeremy Lin will look to get some good games in before heading to the break after struggling the last two games. (8,5 ppg, 6 apg, 22% FG, 0% 3PT)

According to a source, at least one Rocket will represent the team during All-Star festivities, as James Harden will be in the Sprite 3PT Shootout. Harden is also expected to make the All-Star team.

The presentation, and the story as a whole, is brilliant in my opinion! Do you ever have problems with Lin's passing? On my association, I found that his passing, at times, could be incredibly streaky.

Thanks a lot for the kind words, also, welcome to the forums!

And actually it isn't, I just run my offense mostly through Harden so often he gets more dimes then Lin.

My pleasure, and thank you!

Oh right, yeah that makes sense really. I just found that he would misplace his passes more than he should, although I am relatively poor at the game so that is probably just me.

Nice previews of the ASW. Picking Steph and Flight-White for the titles, just a hunch :P

One more game to recap, @LAC, the last on before the All-Star break. Don't know when it'll be up + ASW, as I have school stufff the next few weeks and a basketball tournament this weekend.

Nice blowout over Miami, although the pic seems to say LBJ is the one cheering. Somehow Cunningham always lands in the SDC, so I hope he wins it.

hova-, I didn't think I could win, I took the screenshot in the first quarter. During the 2nd-3rd quarters, the replay is always screwed up, sometimes til the end, the replay never worked properly.

I'm on PC and it happens to me as well, pretty sure Sit's on 360 though so it's a bug in the game

Have seen it on consoles as well.

As for Dwight, not sure. Will have to look during the off-season.

Quick workaround for the Replay thing: if you notice it isn't working, do the following,

1. Go to Game Stats -> Gametrack
2. Select the first play (should bring up a replay)
3. Back out to pause screen
4. Select Instant Replay
5. Back out to game.

This is a temporary fix. I usually have to do it 4-5 times a game.

Should try that, thanks SC1211.

Haven't updated in ages, been busy with school and the summer finally arrived in Estonia, so much less time.

Finally played 2K yesterday over like 2 weeks or so. My-Player Playoffs against LeBron is a bitch, he can't miss and dunks from everywhere. I'm a SF with pretty maxed out defensive ratings, but I can't stop him. Down 2-1 after winning game #3, LeBron has averaged 45 points I think, had 55 in game #3. I've been averaging 38 points, 19 assists and 8 rebounds so far.

Will go to London next week, prepping for the trip now, hopefully can update before that, maybe fast-track this a bit. Stay patient, my friends. Will also try to catch up with other stories.

Well ,thats life, so many more important things going on. That is why I will try to push my story more now make it go quicker. I always want to make it to the second season because this is where the real fun starts, but I barely manage to fulfill that. Have fun in London!

Rockets head to All-Star Break with blow-out loss in LA

Behind 60% shooting, 14 offensive rebounds and just 3 turnovers, the Clippers piled up 122 points on the visiting Rockets to beat them in the last game before the All-Star festivities.

The Rockets weren't too bad either, shooting-wise. They shot 58% from the field and 40% from long distance, but committed 15 turnovers (off which the Clippers scored 26 points) and grabbed just 29 rebounds.

The Clippers were displaying, why they're called Lob-City, with 40 fast-break points with spectacular dunks coming from Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and some crafty lay-ups and a rare dunk from Jamal Crawford.

With the exception of James Harden and perhaps Jeremy Lin, the Rockets failed to show up, especially defensively. Chandler Parsons couldn't get open to his shots, Thomas Robinson failed to score against the bigs of LA and the bench was badly out-scored.

The league now all travel to Houston for the All-Star Weekend. Hometown is represented by 3 players with James Harden being in 2 events, the All-Star Game and the 3PT Shootout and Thomas Robinson and Chandler both representing Team Shaq in the Rising Stars Challenge.

The official Rising Stars Challenge draft was held last night, with Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal picking the best rookies and sophomores to play the annual game.

Barkley took Kyrie Irving with the first pick, followed by Shaq taking Ricky Rubio of the Timberwolves.

Harden gets selected as a reserve by coaches

Image

The Rockets have their first All-Star since Yao Ming - off-season acquisition James Harden. Harden didn't come close to cracking the starting line-up, as Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant both received over 1.2 million votes while Harden collected a modest 410K.

Jeremy Lin received 860K votes, third best among Western Conference guards, but didn't get the coaches vote to be a reserve with Goran Dragic, Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry being the reserve guards.

11 of the 22 players are first-time All-Stars, all of whom are reserves.

East :

SF - Carmelo Anthony (6th)
SG - Deron Williams (4th)
PG - Derrick Rose (4th)
