Knicks Franchise!......without Layden

Postby hugo_marbury on Fri Aug 29, 2003 10:15 am

hey!!!! a week a go (when i discovered that there is people making patches for Live 2000) i started a franchise with the Knicks using Ben's roster (NL00V101).....

the first thing that i did was to simulate the first season, so i have the draft, resigning players, etc....

the team finished very bad, so i got the 6 drafth selection.... and i got a small forward name Joseph Roberts (6'7, from Creighton)....and i traded Othella Harrington and Lee Nailon for Keon Clark (finally i have a shot blocker).....
so, my starting line up is:

C - Kurt Thomas
PF - A. McDyess
SF - Spree
SG - Houston
PG - Eisley

K. Clark
M. Doleac
J. Roberts
S. Anderson
C. Ward
F. Williams
C. Weatherspoon

T. Knight

My record is 3 - 3.
Houston is my leading scorer.
K. Thomas the rebounds leader.

In my franchise i could trade Spree for Vince Carter (who is not starting in Toronto)....so, what do you think? should i trade him? imagine Houston and Air Canada as SG a SF !......or maybe trade S. Anderson and Spoon or C. Ward for Tim Thomas........im not sure yet........

hope somebody reads this and THANKS TO ALL THE PATCHERS FOR KEEPING LIVE 2000 ALIVE :D

hey hugob, don't you have any problem with Ben's roster ? I mean, it's normally impossible to trade signed free agents...

if you didn't know, i'm working on a 03-04 roster, available at www.alexsite.fr.tc, that's still a beta version, but it's quite playable :)

the last of Ben´s rosters for Live 2000 is not perfect for Franchise, but if you simulate the first season and go to the draft, etc., the roster is not that bad. in my opinion, that is a very good roster (except for the problem that you can´t signed free agents in your firts season and that all of the players that are on the injured list won´t play for all the season)....i mean, the ratings are good and i think the game now is finally more difficult............anyways.....i´ll try your patch out.....thanks...... :D

Go Knicks!!!!!

Tim Thomas is so good in Live. He's my go to guy, because I'm the 93 overallp point guard that needs assists.
