Man, I am loving Nenad Krstic. He has incredible range for a big man and always draws double-teams. That opens things up for Derrick Brown and 3-point specialist Shawne Williams. With Rubio's passing and Jeffries 'D', Knicks have a serious bench.

Nice trade Jae. What's your lineup look like now? Or maybe just post it after draft/off-season recap

At the moment it's...

Avery Bradley (87)
Theo Johnson (95)
Rasheed Jordan (89)
Blake Griffin (95)
Serge Ibaka (81)

Still getting used to using Blake though and my bench is awful.

Edit: Just played the 10-1 Golden State Warriors and their retardedly good offense. They're #1 in the league in scoring (120ppg), we're #2 at 114. I figured I probably couldn't outrun them since they've got 4 shooters in their starting five and I've got three, plus more possessions means more chances for them to score and with my bench being so bad I figured that would not end well for me. So I just slowed it down as much as possible, I basically walked the ball up the court every time and waited for the shot clock to get below 16 before I did anything. Didn't go so well in the first half, was down by 13 but I stuck with it and it worked out, ended up winning 101-94. Somehow held them to nearly 30 points below their average.

Theo had 30/6/10 but Blake surprised me, ended up with 24/11 which is by far his best game as a Sun. I think I haven't been using him properly, I was trying to use him like I do Ibaka and have him face guys up and take them off the dribble. Against Golden State because I was trying to slow things down, I pretty much exclusively used him as a post player and it worked brilliantly.

Was bored so I added Ricky Rubio to the Wolves and simmed one season...

PG -- Ricky Rubio, Jonny Flynn, Luke Ridnour
SG -- Wesley Johnson, Wayne Ellington
SF -- Michael Beasley, Martell Webster, Lazar Hayward
PF -- Kevin Love, Anthony Randolph, Anthony Tolliver
C -- Darko Milicic, Nikola Pekovic

Went 34-48, Rubio & Johnson on All-Rookie 1st team; Miami earned the title, defeating the Grizzlies (who defeated Spurs and Lakers) 4-2. Earned 8th pick in the draft and drafted SG/SF Vince Jefferies (65). Then traded Ridnour to Phoenix for Hakim Warrick and a 2nd pick, looking like this:

PG -- Ricky Rubio, Jonny Flynn
SG -- Wesley Johnson, Vince Jefferies, Wayne Ellington
SF -- Michael Beasley, Martell Webster, Lazar Hayward
PF -- Kevin Love, Anthony Randolph, Hakim Warrick
C -- Darko Milicic, Anthony Tolliver, Nikola Pekovic

Simmed until December and I'm 6-11; Rubio had a couple of 20 pts-10 ast games :cheeky:

Few interesting draft prospects I'm looking at... well, by looking at I mean will definitely pick as I've already edited their appearance to make them look more human lol. Basically every season I go through the draft and pick out the guys I want, then edit the way they look. Never touch their ratings though, my internal conscience wouldn't allow it. There's a 6'7 PF that I made look like Dennis Rodman (lottery), a 6'9 shooting guard from Slovenia or something (mid-late 1st) and a 7 foot tall small forward (second round)

I'm in year two with the T'Wolves (29 games, 6 minute quarters). My starting five is Nash, Mayo, Roy, Love & Noah. In the first season Boston traded KG for Vince Carter, Ray Allen for Corey Maggette & Paul Pierce for Ben Gordon. Some how right now they're 1st in the east with a 12-2 record.

Sometimes I think I should just make a thread for my long ass posts about my team  but I think I'll wait until I get a capture card or something and put some effort into it

You know at times I think you've got it right just using this thread since you don't feel obliged to do certain updates & can just do it whenever you feel like it or get time to.

I'm doing a cleveland cavaliers dynasty with a fantasy draft to have some fun. I drafted mostly rookies with my star player being John Wall. In the first season, of course we were one of the top 5 worst teams in the nba, i traded for some draft picks in a strong or very strong draft the 1st year.

I had two first round picks and two 2nd round picks, I signed Peja Stojakovic and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. I signed Peja to have a stronger bench, since he's good at midrange and three point shooting. And i signed Zydrunas because of his midrange, blocking, rebounding and inside scoring.

Zydrunas is one of my team's scoring leaders, with 17 ppg, John Wall my starting point gaurd gets 17 ppg and my starting power forward Kevin Love gets 15 ppg. Most of my starting five can score, here is my roster below with the starters first.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas 77
Kevin love 86
Paul George 79
Evan Turner 77
John Wall 87
______________
Bench
DeJuan Blair 76
JJ. Hickson 78
Peja Stojakovic 77
Jordan Crawford 76
Eric Maynor 72
___________________
Inactives
Gordan Hayward 74
DeMarcus Cousins 76
Luke Babbitt 74
Daniel Orton 60

Bored as hell.. Used the Miami Heat and traded LeBron for Beasley, '11 and '12 first round picks. Not sure if the Wolves will suck next year, having LeBron in their team. I want to throw in Bosh for Love too, but salaries won't work.

Here's my starting lineup and the scoring is fluid and Beasley is a cheese in the game.

PG - M. Bibby
SG - D. Wade
SF - M. Beasley
PF - C. Bosh
C - J. Anthony

We're currently leading the Eastern Conference in December, Wade is the scoring leader with 26, while Beasley is producing 21, might improve his post game to be able to switch him to PF at some times, Bosh is pretty soft I think but his jumper is sweeeet. Might trade him in the deadline though

I don't know if I mentioned it before but when I was thinking about trading Rasheed Jordan I found this guy Portland have, he's a 6'9 rookie SF rated 76 with A- for potential. He's only putting up like 7ppg off the bench but he's 22 which is what stopped me wanting to get him. Anyway, played Portland the other day and this dude had 19 points in 15 minutes. He is awesome. If he wasn't 22 I'd trade Jordan for him, but I think Jordan's only like 21 and already rated 89 so I'm sticking with it. Used some development time on his ball handling/speed and it's made a huge difference, he's averaging 20 over the last 4 games.

Wait what the hell, Utah traded Jacobsen to Boston for two scrubs. Well, they're not scrubs they're like 23-24 and have B for potential but they are putting up 9/2/6 and 8/7 respectively. Jacobsen is averaging 24 per game and had 36 on his debut for the Celtics. Smfh.

Maybe his morale is low because he isn't getting the minutes or role he deserves, so they traded him.

I'll have to check out where they are in the standings, they have (well, had) a good team so I can't imagine him being unhappy. It's pretty much the equivalent of the Pacers trading Danny Granger for Jordan Crawford and Trevor Booker

Was he an expiring contract who maybe wouldn't re-sign? Great to see big market teams rip off the small market teams

Nope just signed a new 6 year deal in the off-season. He's 26 years old and rated 88, ranked the 8th best SG in the league. The guys they traded for (I was wrong about their ages initially) were Elliot Williams, who is rated 81 and is 27 (has 3 years left on his contract, putting up about 13 per game since the trade) and some 25 year old power forward who is expiring and rated 73. Both teams have identical records and are playing .500 ball since the deal too. Boston has a nice back-court now with Rondo and Jacobsen but I have no idea wtf Utah were thinking. Boston has a 80 rated SG coming off the bench behind Jacobsen now, hopefully they trade him for a C or something.

Edit:

Had a pretty big game with Chicago. Derrick Rose and Theo are the only two guys in the league averaging 30ppg+ and we were both sitting at #7 in our respective conferences. I tried to use Theo more as a distributor than a scorer, though he scored 31 points he also wound up with 23 assists which is not only his career high but the most I've ever had with a player on 2K11. 31 points, 6 rebounds and 23 assists. Rose had 27 and 6 or something. Theo's won player of the month in the West every month so far, if he doesn't win MVP I'm snapping my game disc.

Finish 8 games with Wizards.I'm doing good putting up 20+points. But still can't get a win.=.= I need to polish my shooting skills. They suck. But I rock at the paint. Kinda unstoppable unless, I'm infront of a center. Got injured in my 3rd or 4th game because of my epic move, that would be end one if I didn't get injure, I recorded it but too lazeh to upload so I deleted it, here what happens...I fake then drive then got contact with a center, I forgot what team, then actually lays the ball in, but fell to the ground, abdomen hurts. Came back after 2 weeks. And rockin. 7th game against Heat, and damn, they're just too strong.

I traded for KG last night. "The Big Ticket" is back in Minnesota.

I had to make a move in order to make sure I can resign Kevin Love & OJ Mayo at the end of the season. KG is on the last year of his contract.

I traded Roy, Anthony Randolph & next seasons 1st rounder to Phoenix in return for Garnett & this seasons 1st round pick.

My 1st game with the new lineup of Nash-Mayo-KG-Love-Noah was a win vs the Hornets. I won by 10 but lost Noah for 3 weeks & Mayo twisted his ankle & is now playing injured.

2nd game with KG was a 91-49 win vs Phoenix. I finished the game 16-21 from downtown.
