With 3.8 seconds left, Derrick Rose caught the ball on the inbound, and looked for an open option.
He saw it in Kyle Korver.
Korver nailed a 2 point bucket over Ray Allen to provide the Bulls with a win to pull them within 1.5 games of the Magic in the race for the number 1 seed.
"We had blown the lead we had, so I knew I had to make it. Overtime? The Celtics are good enough to give them a third oppourtunity to win it." said Korver after the shot.
The Celtics climbed back from a 17 point deficit to cut the lead. Then Allen nailed a three to give the Celtics a tie. After a couple of misses, the Bulls got the oppurtunity to give it to Korver.
Rose had 25 points, 17 assists, and 9 rebounds, 1 away from a triple double. Luol Deng had a 19 points 8 rebound outing, and Carlos Boozer had a solid 12 point game. Korver had 14 points off the bench, including the key 2 point shot.
On the other hand, the Celtics had nearly climbed the hill, but got burned by lazy defense.
"I think our fatigue was our enemy for that play. Korver was fresh, and Ray had played a good 30 plus minutes." said coach Doc Rivers.
Allen had 20 points and 6 rebounds. Paul Pierce led the charge, nailing threes and making smart plays, leading all Celtic scorers with 26 points, along with 7 assists. Kevin Garnett had a solid 18 point 17 rebound game.
Things started to get edgy during the second half, when Rose was shoved by Garnett to the floor on a fast break layup. Rose said a few things, but backed off. "Look, I'm not gonna have some guy ruin our season because he can't foul right." Garnett has not responded.
"Look, we're inching closer to the 1 seed," said coach Tom Thibodeau
"Now we just gonna clinch it."

I agree, and you're the only one I will even admit this to because your assocation is awesome. And I think I need a little playoff so I can get to the off-season and continue this. But, yeah it is. Maskoundyitis

Rose leads Bulls over Cavs in an easy victory
In an absolute domination, the Bulls defeated the Cavs 119-86 in a no-contest win.
The Cavs kept it competitive, tying the Bulls in the first quarter, but then were blown away in the second, and could not recover.
"We got torn apart," said coach Byron Scott. "Anytime you face a playoff bound team on a 7 game winning streak, you have to play a 48 minute game, and not a 12 minute one."
Christian Eyenga and Daniel Gibson led all Cavalier scorers with 18 points. Eyenga had 9 rebounds. Anderson Varejao had a solid double-double, netting 11 points and snatching 15 boards.
But it was all about Derrick Rose tonight. Coming off of his near triple-double, Rose did not disappoint, scoring 23 points and dishing 15 dimes. Carlos Boozer, who had a soft impact in the game against the Celtics, lit it up, dominating the Cavalier backcourt for 20 points and 8 rebounds.
Even after hitting the game winning shot in the Celtics game, Kyle Korver continued to dominate, scoring 18 points off the bench.
This win for the Bulls brings them 1 game behind for first place, and on Sunday, the Magic and Bulls will play it out for first place in the conference, and the best record in the league.
"We're ready," said Rose. "We may be young, but we have more heart than a lot of teams out there."Bulls (25-36-23-35-119)
