Introduction

Phoenix Suns surprised everybody last season, they reached the western conference finals, mostly beacuse of their two best players, masters of pick & roll,Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire. This team is also very deep, everybody from the bench can contribute.Suns lost STAT who went to the New York Knicks and they will try to replace him and be success in the future.I think i did a good job on that.I traded Childress,Warrick and Gortat for David Lee and Charlie Bell, this is a real steal if you ask me and in a few more trades i brought Jordan Hill and Joey Dorsey in Phoenix, they are athletic players that can play defense but can also finish beacuse of their athelticism.But...there are still some problems we will try to solve.

Nash is still one of the best point guards in the league but he is very old and the question is when we can expect him to play worse because his body could let him down...This team is now mix of young and old players so i think our success depends on consistency of these young players,if brooks, hill and lopez will play solid every night we have a chance to be dangerous in playoff. And the third and the most known problem is our defense,i will not request very tough defense beacuse this is simply not the style of this team, our aim is to score one point more than the opponent not to concede one less if you understand but everybody knows that defense wins championships...

This is pretty much it.The first game in the NBA in this season is between us and Portland, all eyes will be on this game and Portland is a great team but i expect a victory.

What do you think about chances of this team, can we reach playoff,or we will end up in the lottery. Also which player you would like to see in my team, some player that could fit great in this run and gun playstyle?

Suns open season with lost against Blazers

Suns lost their first game of this season 110-100. Portland played great defense and they managed to block 9 shots.Suns obviously need some time beacuse of new players that should play big role.Portland's new acquisition Gerald Wallace had a great game and we had tough time trying to stop him and he is the player of the game.

You should've traded for Gerald Wallace instead of David Lee. The amount you gave up for him, I think you could've brought in Wallace.
Also make J-Dud a starter. When he has good nights, he's really great.

Badger, unfortunately, they're not. They've been out of the race for a few days. They're stuck at tenth place. Memphis clinched the 8th playoff berth last night.

Wallace is probably the better player but he is marion type of player and i needed someone who can play pick 'n' roll with nash and i think David Lee fits better.Grant Hill is starter now but he will be a free agent or he will retire next season so Dudley will get plenty of playing time, maybe he will be a MIP candidate.

GAME RECAP

Suns won their second game in this season against Jazz.Suns took advantage od their deep roster,i think i made a great job giving Carter a sixth man role,Pietrus is better defender and is younger but when Carter has his night like he had it against Jazz we can beat everyone. He was just unstoppable in the fourth quarter,he scored almost half of his points in this quarter.

It was tightly contested right to the end,Jazz had the 10 point lead once but we managed to comeback and win at the road, now there will be less pressure on us in the next few home games.Even we won this game i still have some concerns, our not so impressive defense allowed them to drive a lot and they used that and as you can see they shot a lot of free throws.Everything else was fine, turnovers were also almost deadly for us,but win is a win now we'll play some home games,i hope for some wins also.
