Quick question: Where did you find the layout? Did you make it? It looks really clean and crisp and would love to do something similar.

Hard to see the Heat win, but it will just make everyone improve (including NY) for next year.

Donnie Walsh has to step down and helps in hiring of new young General Manager
Donnie Walsh has made a lot of questionable moves while in charge of the New York Knicks. All those bad moves aside, he is the man responsible for bringing in Amar'e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, and Chauncey Billups. Let's not forget he also drafted Landry Fields in the second round of the NBA Draft. Just when Walsh's luck was starting to turn in his day job, his personal life is takes a big blow. Walsh is currently diagnosed with a disclosed illness. Walsh was very emotional at his press conference, "Today is a very sad day for me. I loved being at the helm of this team and learning from my mistakes. This comes at a bad time for me seeing as how it looked like the fortune of the Knicks has finally turned for the better." Walsh had done a great job getting the pieces there this year and he obviously was excited for the off-season to see what he could do.
Many people were unsure about who would take over for Walsh, but he was quick to talk about his replacement, "After sitting down with owner James Nolan, we are clear on who my replacement should be. We are going to a very young kid that has been working with the organization as a scout. He was one of the guys that helped us find Landry Fields. His name is Casey Le and he is only 25 years old, but he is very knowledgeable and knows what is needed to put a team together. I always wished that someone had given me a break when I was younger, so this is me giving him his break. He better be ready to get right to it though because New York can be ruthless."
Charles Oakley leaves the Bobcats to come back to New York
New York's new General Manager Casey Lee made his first move at the helm of the Knicks. After consulting with the coaching staff, Lee found it necessary to bring in some help on the coaching staff. Oakley, who has a great relationship with Michael Jordan, has been working in Charlotte's coaching staff. On why he left to come to New York Oakley said this, "I jumped at the opportunity to come back to the Garden. This is where the best years of my career were; I love this place and I love the fans." Oakley is being brought in to coach the defense. This enables Coach Mike D'Antoni to concentrate on offense while Oakley takes care of the defense. Lee gave his comment on his first transaction, "We are very excited to have Charles on our staff now. He brings a passion to the game and I hope his intensity rubs off on our players. We are very excited to have this two headed monster coaching our team." Lee's two headed monster remark is a reference to having both Oakley and D'Antoni coaching the team. People wonder if these two can coexist. When will Oakley start wanting to instill his own playing style that might clash with D'Antoni's style.
Chauncey Billups headlines the Knicks that are looking for new contracts this summer
The Knicks have only six players that are not in need of a new contract this summer. Everyone else on the roster is either waiting on the results of their options or waiting to see if the Knicks offer to resign them. Everyone is wondering what direction new general manger is trying to take the team. Lee commented on the upcoming off-season, "We are gearing up for a championship run. We aren't building a team of the future, we are building a team of now. All decisions made are going to be made to help build a championship team." Chauncey Billups was a huge reason for the Knicks getting to the playoffs. He helped bring the team together and was the quarterback of this team. He is a defensive minded player that rubbed off on everyone else. It will be interesting to see if they decide to bring him back or go for a younger point guard who will be around for a while. The Knicks will obviously decline Billups' $14.20M option, but they still might try to resign him for less money. Here is a list of New York's roster:

A Head Coach and thirteen players, including Grant Hill, decide to call it quits
Players that many of us have come to love have decided to walk away from the game this summer. Some of those players include gritty big men Theo Ratliff and Antonio McDyess. Many people are going to miss one of the best defensive players of his generation in Ben Wallace. Wallace wasn't much for a goodbye, but Grant Hill was very emotional during his good bye speech. "Today is an emotional day, but I am ready to spend time with my family. I want us to spend time together while we still have it. My career didn't go exactly how I thought it would, but I went out everyday and gave it my all. I wish the best of luck to the Suns organization next year." Rockets Head Coach Rick Adelman has decided to step away from the game as well.

Shaquille O'Neal is honored for his illustrious career
Shaq Diesel has finally decided to stop jumping from team to team and settle down. Superman decided to pack it up this summer and following his retirement he was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. The NBA started a new ruling this year that the players will go on the hall of fame ballot the summer they retire. This means after every year, those retirees are all on the ballot. There is no limit on how many players can be voted in. Shaq leaves the NBA after leaving an unforgettable mark on the NBA. He not only dominated the NBA, but he also left the mark with his crazy antics. O'Neal's career averages are 24.1ppg, 11.0rpg, 2.3bpg and his career playoff averages were 24.5ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.1bpg. Shaq will be missed and it's appears as though that the new 'Superman' center Dwight Howard will have to take over for Shaq. Not only on the court, but in the public eyes as a leader of the NBA. Shaq is the only player that was inducted in to the hall of fame this year.
Zach Randolph headlines a mediocre free agent class
There is no LeBron James, no Dwyane Wade, and no Chris Bosh. There isn't any significant superstars that are available in free agency this summer. Most people around the league are buzzing about next year's free agent class and not giving much attention at all to this year's. Don't be fooled though, there are many players out there that can instantly help teams become competitive or make already competitive teams in to contenders. Zach Randolph headlines the group after another great season in Memphis. Randolph has decided he wants to go somewhere new, "I haven't been one for settling in anyways, but right now I'm looking for a big city to sign a long contract with. I want to be a part of a team that wants to consider me a premiere player." Here is the list of all the 'big' free agents:
