Notice
I know I pretty much ripped the format for the introductory material from my Live 10 Sixers story, but I liked it, so figured why do more work than I have to. I was actually enjoying doing that story, but got caught up in all of the 2K11 hype, so quit it prematurely. I actually have a good 2K11 association going with the Wizards, and made the decision not start a thread for it here. I'm 13-10 (in a 29 game season), and the only roster move I made was trading Gilbert Arenas and Josh Howard for Andre Iguodala and Andres Nocioni. That's all I really have to say about the time I've been away from the forum, and I just had an urge today to start a Live 10 dynasty. I don't know, even though 2K11 is great, there's still something about this game that keeps bringing me back to it. And about this dynasty: I figured the Suns would be an interesting team to use (Nash trade rumors/trade with Orlando), and will be playing 29 games, one against each team, and simulating the rest. I can't promise the updates will be consistent, but I'll try my hardest to keep you guys hooked. Anyway, I hope I can bring some life back to this section and that you guys enjoy following this as much as I enjoy playing and writing it.

Good luck man, and nice to have you back
Will be nice to see how the Suns do.

You better get my man Stevey Nash a ring bro

Good luck

Win Nash a ring! IN PHOENIX!
Oh, yeah, and reverse the J-Rich trade somehow!

Good luck

Win a ring in Phoenix

Will do guys.

Thanks for the support. I was actually contemplating over reversing the J-Rich trade zo2, but I like all of the new guys the Suns brought in, and didn't feel like doing the work.

I think Gortat and Pietrus give them a lot more depth too, and Carter is always a solid addition. I couldn't decide how I would fit Hedo into the lineup either if I did indeed choose to reverse it.

Suns, Magic Complete Six-Player Blockbuster• Monday August 16, 2010 - Phoenix, AZPHOENIX (AP) -- Almost one month the Phoenix Suns traded Leandro Barbosa and Dwayne Jones to the Toronto Raptors for Hedo Turkoglu, the Suns and Orlando Magic have come to terms on a deal which will send Turkoglu, Jason Richardson, and Earl Clark to the Magic for Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat, Mickael Pietrus, a 2011 first-round draft pick, and cash considerations. Hedo will return to Orlando where he spent five seasons (2004-2009) of his career and was made a recognizable face in the league before signing a hefty contract with Toronto last summer. He, along with Richardson and the newly-acquired Gilbert Arenas (who was shipped to the Magic from the Washington Wizards earlier today for Rashard Lewis in a separate deal) will slide into the starting lineup for the Magic, as will Vince for Phoenix. The Suns will line up with Steve Nash, Carter, Grant Hill, Channing Frye, and Robin Lopez when they visit rookie Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday October 29 in their season opener.

You have two assiststants, i hope that you develop Lopez while he's still young.
Tue Jan 18, 2011 8:22 am
Robin is definitely a keeper and will continue to start for the team, but I don't get what you mean about the two assistants thing.

Hyperize., it's good to see you back.

Good luck with this one, although I would've liked it if you continued with your Pacers association.

I mean your offensive and defensive coaches.

Good to see another new Dynasty thread here. Best of luck, hope to see this one thrive and succeed.

Thanks a lot Axel and Andrew; I appreciate it.

Here's to hoping this one'll be more successful than my past attempts. And about abandoning my Pacers association: there's just some quality about a NBA Live 10 dynasty that makes it fun to create a story for here, while I feel the only way I can enjoy a 2K11 association is if I play it on my own, without having to recap it here. Maybe it's just 2K's realism compared to Live's simplicity, but even I don't really know myself.

Oh yeah, season opener coming up in a bit!

Gordon & Co. Rally Late, Clip Suns In LA• Thursday October 29, 2010: Staples Center - Los Angeles, CARecapLOS ANGELES (AP) -- After a devastating loss (85-111) to their LA counterpart last night, the Los Angeles Clippers had nothing but vengeance on their mind. Tonight's game was close after the first, but the Clippers were able to gradually pull away from the Phoenix Suns after that. Their young stars got it done, as Blake Griffin (22 points and 17 rebounds) took care of the first half, while Eric Gordon (35 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists) dominated the second. Baron Davis quietly had a throwback night of 22 points, 12 assists, and 4 rebounds. Veterans Steve Nash (26 points and 10 assists) and Vince Carter (25 points) where the Suns greatest threats, but even they couldn't get the job done. Phoenix (0-1) will look to get things back on track tomorrow night as they fly back home to play host to Monta Ellis and the Golden State Warriors (1-0).

Griffin and Kmaman 17 boards each?!?!
Sucks.

Not uncommon in Live 10, frontcourt players always hog up the rebounds, like Dennis Rodman.
Really like the layout, but that's a tough loss. I'm surprised Baron Davis didn't drop 40 on you like he's done to me. This better not turn out to be the opposite of my dynasty.

Get back on track with a win against the Warriors!

Simple layout but I love it, just like the Pacers association
Nice 1-2 by Nash and Carter, but Gordon killed you.

lol I usually hog the boards in my franchise (regularly grab 15 offensive boards and double the opposing team's total rebonuding effort.

First of all, I probably should've went over to your thread to say this, but congrats on finishing such a great dynasty Axel. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two from your commitment, and I appreciate the shout-out over in your thread too.

I sure hope we won't be the opposite of your Rockets, although it most likely won't be a relief to see us lose some games either.

That's good to hear, especially from someone with graphical skills like yours.

I'd have to agree that Nash and Carter make a pretty reliable veteran duo. Nice job on your Spurs story too; sorry I haven't got around to commenting in it though.
And thanks for checking in Houndy and zo2.

I'm working on some new updates right now.

No problem man, I know some members (X, Valor, Sit) are waiting for me to reach the playoffs...
