I will do my best. I'm playing right now, and just finish the 1st quarter. My problem is, my memory is not too sharp to remember the game in the 1st quarter. Maybe I should take note every the end of the quarter so that I will come up with a good recap after the game.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 34 points with 3 big blocks and seven rebounds, Tyson Chandler made his first double double with
14 points and 14 rebounds, Jason Kidd nailed 13 points and dishes 6 assist with four steals, and Stevenson
contributed 15 points with 2 steal of his own that ended the game 80-86.
"It was a tough game, Bobcats were very aggressive in the paint and we need to defend their bigman.
The double double of Tyson was very impressive, it really helps a lot to win these game,
and we just got lucky because one of their key player (Jackson)
was injured and we made it as an our advantage to win the game" Dirk said.

On the other hand, Bobcat's Power Forward Diaw took the place of Jackson after he got injured in the 2nd quarter,
Diaw nailed 16 points with 6 rebounds with the help of Wallace with his 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Jackson had 14 points in 14 minutes gameplay during the 1st and the mid 2nd quarter of the game. But it is not enough to beat the Mavs.

Injury Report:Jackson and Mohammed (CHA) was injured during the 2nd quarter of the game,
according to the reports Mohammed was suffering from a Back Spasms with auration of 1 to 2 weeks,
while Jackson is out because of Strained Achilles when contesting
a rebound at the 2nd quarter of the match, he is expectedly out 1 to 2 weeks.


Game Turning Point: The Bobcats (0-1) led 5 points in the 4th quarter with 30 seconds left on the clock when
Chandler tipped the pass of Livingston that made the Bobcats intentionally fouled Jason Kidd and took those
free throws that led the Mavs (1-0)to win the game with a final score of 80-86.

Next Game: Dallas Mavericks will be facing the Grizzlies with their Small Forward Rudy Gay on October 29 at 7:30PM at
the home of the Mavs after these they will be visiting the Clippers for their 3rd game in the season.

The Opening Night

Dallas- The crowd is set, the Bobcats will be facing the Mavs in there opening night at
American Airlines Center on Wednesday, October 27 at 7:30PM. Dirk Nowitzki and
Jason Kidd will be leading the team with the help of Jason Terry as a sixth man in
their rotation. Tyson Chandler will be expecting by the fans to dominate the shaded area to help
the team in rebounding and also to Haywood who is very aggressive in getting rebounds in the paint .
"I'm looking forward on the team's success in these season, our coaching staff and the organization was expecting to much on the team.
I'm hoping that my teammates will be more aggressive inside the court and hopefully we can improve our offense as well as our defense these year." Dirk said.

In the other hand, Wallace and his team was expecting a tough match.
"Dirk is very dangerous inside the court, that guy can also shoot beyond the arc,
we will need to focus our defense as well as to their shooters they are smoking hot outside." Wallace said.

Grizzlies Meet the Mavs

Dallas- The Grizzlies will be visiting the Mavericks at their home crowd this coming October 29. Both team
won in their first game in the season, the Grizzlies (1-0) beat the Hawks (98-108) in FedEx Forum Stadium last October 27.

The Mavericks (1-0) is looking for their 2nd win in these season. "Grizzlies is good team. They have thier 2 forwards that can score in mid
range and can penetrate well in the basket. We just need to play hard defense on them especially to Gasol who are beast in the shaded area.
We had a great performance last game against the Bobcats hopefully we can maintain these momentum." Rick Carlisle said.

Jason Terry hanged on the ring for in his own dunk!


Dallas- "They just outplayed us. They played great defense on us and we couldn't execute. They just outplayed us. They outplayed us at both ends." Rudy Gay said after a big defeat against the Dallas Mavericks.

Dirk Nowitzki played very well in both offense and defense. Dirk scored 30 points including 2 out of 2 from beyond the arc, he also grabbed 7 rebounds. While Jason Kidd had foul trouble in the 3rd quarter until he got fouled out at the 4th quarter with 2 minutes left, Kidd was struggling inside the court he only tallied 7 points (3-10FG) with 2 assists and 2 steals. Jason Terry had an astonishing performance of the night, he had 13 points and nailed 1 basket from the 3 point line. Caron Butler and DeShawn Stevenson scored both 11 points, while Tyson Chandler grabbed 8 big rebounds that helps a lot to his team.


On the other end, the Grizzlies (2-1) tried their best to beat the Mavs in their home crowd but their effort was not good enough. Rudy Gay led his team with 24 points (9-21FG) with 4 rebounds and four assists. Despite of the great defense of the Mavericks (2-0), Zach Randolph got his first double-double in these season with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Conley played with an injury he only had 3 points, his teammates will be expecting him to have a full recovery after 1-2 weeks.


Rudy Gay attacked the basket with a foul from Chandler!

Next Game: For the Mavericks, they will be going to their 1st road trip at the home of the Los Angeles Clippers (1-1) on October 31 . For the Grizzlies, they will facing Kobe Bryant with his team at the Staples Center on November 2, 2010.

Hey, I haven't looked at this yet. I love Mavs associations! Amazed that the NBA has already lost Carmelo and Al Jefferson to injuries for the season! Stevenson's playing well, although when I play with the Mavs, I use a Chandler, Nowitzki, Marion, Butler, Kidd lineup - works wonders.

For some reason, Stevenson really works well as the starter for the Mavericks.

@ zo2 Carmelo's and Jefferson's injury was a big lost to their respective team in these season. Maybe I will stick with my rotation as of now, and lets see if it will work. Just came from a long vacation.

First Road Trip

Los Angeles- After a big win against the Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks (2-0) is having with their first road trip versus the Clippers (1-1) on October 31 at 12:30PM.
The Clippers is coming from a big lost (100-101) against the Warriors last October 29, the Clippers is now looking for their 2nd win in their home crowd. Eric Gordon finished 41 points in 39 minutes gameplay against the Warriors with the help of their bigmen. Chris Kaman had 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while Blake Griffin grabbed 13 rebounds but it was not enough to beat the Warriors in their first meeting in these season.

"We are well prepared with these game, Coach gave us instructions to focus our defense with Dirk and their big men. Their offensive rebound percentage is quite to worry about, so we need to do some defense inside. Coach assigned Blake to take over the paint as well as Chris Kaman, so we are expecting these is a tough game." Eric Gordon said.

Yeah love the statline by Stevenson vs the Griz expected more from Jason Kidd tho.
