New Franchise

With my 2.0 rosters, I only have 10 guys on the roster and I needed a backup SG/SF so I signed Mike Batiste (he's a RFA for the Grizz in real life but they already have 19 players under contract so I figured he wouldn't make it back.) My lineup is as follows

C:Vlade Divac\Brad Miller
PF:Chris Webber\Keon Clark\Lawrence Funderburke
SF:Peja Stojakovic\Gerald Wallace\Mike Batiste
SG:Doug Christie\Mike Batiste\Gerald Wallace
PG:Mike Bibby\Bobby Jackson

28 Game Schedule, Randomized Schedule.

First Game At Home Against Orlando

91-84 Win

Of course I shot a high % but I think its more reflective of my inside play then of my rosters as the Orlando Magic shot 45%. 29% from downtown as they shot 8-27 from the 3pt line. 42% for me on 3-7 shooting. 5 blocks for them 9 for me ugh. 16 steals for them 7 for me, I just can't pass to the right guy sometimes. Sacramento showed off their dominance on the boards against a weaker eastern team holding a 36-20 advantage.

Player Stats!

Kings:

Webber - 30/6/1
Christie - 14/4/4
Bibby - 10pts 10ast
Brad Miller - 18/4 in 16 minutes off the bench
Peja - 6pts 2-8 shooting :(

Magic:

McGrady - 19pts 1ast (Doug did his job tonight)
Gaines - 16pts 10ast...Grr
Garrity -13/5
Hunter/Howard/Giricek - 9pts each

I'll be updating this as I play! Game on!

Good post Joe, I also see version 2.0 is out!

Good to see someone choose the Kings, I'm just waiting for some updated tweaked roster to get the Bucks or the Wizards and start a new franchise...

Hey, play Wallace more... you have a hidden gem somewhere there, (Y)

I know that, lol, does 2.0 have all the latest transactions, ie, Maggette staying put, Jumaine Jones to Boston, etc..?

At home against The Clippers, tough close game and as in real life my bench saved my @$$ outscoring the clips bench 31-14. They shot 38% from 3pt land (7-18) while I shot a paltry 20% (2-10). Still alot of steals and blocks for my taste...grr

I win after a comeback 93-88 next team up Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets

Player Stats!

Kings:

Webber - 24/7/1 not rebounding >:o well neither is the rest of my team
Big Bad Brad Miller - 14/4 off the bench I do love him so
Peja - 12pts not getting his attempts only 11 and make only 4.
Christie - 12pts
Bibby - 4pts 11ast
Special G Wall Update - 5/4/4 very nice game ;-)

Clippers -

Maggette - 38pts
Brand - 14
Odom - 11

Maggette always kills people, his primacy should be decreased, and Brand's increased... Maggette is like McGrady in this game, no way, (N)

What are your settings? Perhaps that's why you don't rebound so much... Also, try to rotate the offense through Webber's hands, not Bibby's... make Mike play like a 2nd SG, and Webber, the Point Forward...

Good GWall (lol) update, try givin' him a start somewhere in the season in place of Peja... You'll like him! (Y)

Good luck, (Y)

frustrating loss, as Denver gets 15 steals on me...Not one person has a over 30 steal rating thats on a NBA team on my roster when you start but teams continue to just steal like crazy on me, I won't even be posting up they'll just walk up to Webber or Brad Miller and just take the ball. 31pts from my bench 27 from theirs  Denver 103-95

Player Stats

Webber - 27/11/2 2blks
Brad Miller - 10/5
Stojakovic - 10/4
Vlade - 14/8
Gerald Wallace - 8/4 1blk

Melo - 28/4
Camby - 16/3 with 3 blks
Hilario - 16/7
Yarbrough - 14pts

Next the Grizzlies!

Thanks for the kind words, when you look at team averages most team dont average that many steals per game, so I look at when they play me as their catchup game in stats if you will. For blocks as well ;-)
