So my this will be my very first Association, since I'm still jobless at the moment it's good time for me to start this (I think). Note to all I have a very old PC and I can only run this for low settings so expect some shitty graphics. I hope this one can be successful so wish me luck guys...

New Jersey Nets out in the NBA

The NBA just recently announced that the New Jersey Nets will not be able to participate in the 2010-11 season.

Sources said that Russian billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov is afraid that a lockout might come in the upcoming years so he disperses the franchise because of the Nets low market. However, Mikhail and (David) Stern are in talk for a new franchise that will participate this season.

Most likely an expansion draft will occur; the last time an expansion occurs is in the year 2004 with the Charlotte Bobcats. As for the Nets current players there will be a lottery with the last season worst teams excluding the Nets.

New City, New Team

It was announced that the New Jersey Nets was disbanded; today a new team will take their spot. The city of Brooklyn will be the host of a new team called the Ballers.

The team already exist in the city, this is an institution that mainly composed by street children. Their goal is to provide organized basketball, discipline, structure, self-esteem, and wholesome physical activity to the young men and women of the communities we serve.

“It’s an honor for us to use this team, now some percentage of the team’s income will be donated to the institution.” Mikhail Prokohov said.
