25 years of Laker dominance =)

G'day guys, so today i was just playing gm.
So all i did was trade, sign , and waive players..
Used Joemimics new roster patch that had real salaries so that aspect of it was fun.

My final management account listed that i was 110million over the salary cap since i signed alot of the great players to minimum salaries.

When u read that u might think that i cheated? .. nope, i signed them when they were rated 70 or so and they just kept improving throughout their careers. The best rookie i've seen improve over his career happened during this franchise. I selected him with the 24th pick, started out rated 70, with average improvment rating, but at the end of his career during his peak, he was rated... 98 , 3straight season as MVP.

To make it interesting after the 1st season I traded shaq to get rid of his huge salary ( 25mil per year) and got some young guys back, then i traded malone for carmelo straight up .

Then after 2 losing seasons, I went 22years undefeated... 0 games lost  ...

All in all it was pretty interesting, alot of teams improved mainly atlanta finally made the playoffs after season 2010/2011, Boston made it to the nba finals 4straight times, minnesota never managed to get out of the 2nd round, and Clippers were the annual spanking boys.

The screenshots below were taken of the awards won by my best lineup i had throughout the franchise...

i dunno about all :? hehe
but i can tell you that in my final 6 seasons, my starting lineup consisted of , pretty freaky when u think about it, a player the size of shaq height and waist wise  but could shoot 3pters, free throws , everything! and was rated at 94 , he was my center ofcoarse and the best guard i ever had dominated on offence and defence, C.Armstrong as u can see down below was rated 96. I traded for him when he was a rookie.

Anyway, one of the marquee teams i had was the 3rd season when i managed to sign all the allstars to minimum contracts, i dunno how or why, but they all wanted to play for the lakers for the championship i guess..
heres i line up i had..

Jowe I would like it if you could post your thoughts about my roster in the thread in the announcements or perhaps email them to me joemimic@yahoo.com. Mainly pretaining to the development and salary issues.

Edit:

I'm guessing some of those players didn't get decent development ratings (IE T-mac's was average) That's my guess as to why he wanted only minimum, it is also entirely possible as I've seen on the game that some people will take less money to play for a winner.
