Game 1 : Miami Heat @ New York Knicks

"New York wins opener in thriller!"

(0-1) MIA 120
(1-0) NYK 125

There was a comeback for the ages played at Madison Square Garden tonight. The Knicks trailed the entire game and the Heat had built a 22 point lead at one point in the second quarter, but thanks to a 40 point 4th quarter, the Knicks have won their season opener. The Knicks outscored the Heat 40-23 in the 4th quarter and Udonis Haslem fouled out with 6:32 left in the final period to help start the Knicks 26-4 run to end the game. Al Harrington provided a huge fourth quarter boost with 10 pts and 6 rebs in 12 minutes in the 4th. Shawn Marion had a game-high 37 to lead Miami.

The Knicks have defeated their Atlantic Division foe on the road for their second win of the season. The 76ers turned the ball over 18 times and the Knicks played relentless defense to hold the 76ers to 88 on their home floor. This, along with Nene's help on the glass with 14 rebounds, earned the Knicks their second straight win of the season. Andre Igoudala led all scorers with 28 pts.

Game 3 : Milwaukee Bucks @ New York Knicks

"Balanced scoring attack leads New York to 3rd straight win!"

(0-3) MIL 91
(3-0) NYK 103

The Knicks had another great defensive game, only allowing Milwaukee's two leading scorers M. Redd and R. Jefferson, 17 and 14 points, respectively. This was the key to beating a bigger, high scoring team such as the Bucks. Everyone that played for the Knicks scored at least 4 points in the contest. Al Harrington led all scorers with 20 points.

Player of the Game : Image Al Harrington - 20 pts, 7 reb

Other Notables :
NYK - W. Chandler - 19 pts
MIL - M. Redd - 17 pts, A. Bogut - 13 pts, 10 reb.

Next Game : vs Bobcats

Knicks News:
-D. Gallinari and J. James are not happy with their roles on the team and have been requested to be put on the trading block. The Knicks are willing to trade the two for a young player with a positive attitude and to save some cap room for next season or perhaps 2010.
- Al Harrington has been chosen as your "KNICKS PLAYER OF THE WEEK." Harrington has put up averages of 23.3 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 1.7 bPG, and 2.0 SPG in 38.3 Minutes. He also has a total of only 4 turnovers in 3 games.

Game 4 : Charlotte Bobcats @ New York Knicks

"Knicks' 66-point second half prevails over Charlotte at MSG!"

(1-3) CHA 90

New York was able to hold Charlotte's second leading scorer, Gerald Wallace, to 6 points, all of which came in the 4th quarter. The Bobcats committed 17 turnovers compared to the Knicks only having 7. The Knicks have improved to 4-0, 1st in the Atlantic Division.

Cool dynasty so far. I like the Nene trade, he's a lot of fun to control because of his dunking ability. Good to see you got OJ Mayo as well.
