Lakers 109 Suns 107

This matchup featured a rematch of the playoffs round 1 which saw Raja Bell and Kobe collide heads. Sun eventually wont he series but Phil jackson is out for REVENGE.

The Suns lead by Amare Stoudamire's 33 points and 4 blocks wasn't enought to contain the Lakes. The Suns had a early lead in the 1st when they had it 36-26. In the 2nd quarter Steve Nash turned the jets on and had 13 of his 17 points in that quarter alone. The Suns still had the lead 60- 55. Mike D'Antoni was confident that only Kobe would show up, so he kept the starting Leandro Barbosa for the whole game, the plan backfired when Kwame Brown stepped up and took advantage of Kobe's troubles agains the double team of nash-Barbosa and Banks-Barbosa. Kwame scored all of his 28 points in the 3rd to give the Lakers some points to slim the lead down. 88-87. In the 4th, Kobe scored 10 of his 23 points in the 4th against Barbosa. With 30.5 on the clock, 107 to 107, Boris Diaw threw a lazy lob pass that was intercepted by Sasha Vujacic who socred his 4th point of the ballgame. The Suns had one more chance tow in but Steve nash botched a lay-up, Boris Diaw missed a three and, Marion was called for a Offensive foul.

Player of the Game: Kwame Brown 28 pts 5 ast

Chicago 95 Miami 85

MUST SEE MATCHUP

Rockets vs. Jazz
Tracy McGrady and Yao will try to win thier first game but, AK 47 and Memhet Okur have different plans.

Greg Anthony has been very vocal about the Knicks chance of winning. He said they will finish with 61-21, because of tenacious D of Q-Richardson and Channing Fyre's breakout year.

The ROY race is very tight but some veterans have made thier opinion known
John Stockton: Paul Milsap (UTAH)
Adrian Dantley: Brnadon Roy (POR)
Steve Kerr: Yo Momma---Adam Morrison (CHA)
Larry Brown: Jordan Farmar (LAL)
