Cavs Dynasty Update

Hello all. Thought I would give you guys an udpate on my dynasty. I started it with the Cleveland Cavaliers and here was my opening day roster.

Starters:
C- Z
PF - Drew Gooden
SF - Lebron James
SG - Larry Hughes
PG - Dan Gibson

Bench:
C - Anderson Varejo
PF - Donyell Marshell
SG - Sasha Pavolivic
PG - Eric Snow
PG - Damon Jones.

I started off okay playing well my first couple games. Then I started to struggle in the first few games and decided to make some changes. I was in desparate need for a point guard. Larry Hughes just wasn't gettign it done at the shootign gaurd spot to compliment LeBron. My record right now is 19-17. I lost a heart breaker to the Suns. Almost coming back from a 19 point deficit in the 2nd half to know avaiil losing by 10 plus points. So I made some changes and here is my full team roster now..

SG - Jason Richards (traded Z for richardson)
PG - Tony Parker - (traded hughes for parker straight up)

Bench:
PF - Donyell Marshell
SF - Sasha Pavlovic

PG - Damon Jones
Pg - Dan Gibson

I still want to make some changes to my line-up. I need another big man. Its just hard to get trades accepted because I am so much under the cap. I realize I have a lot of guards so perhaps I will try to get rid of Snow or somebody.

Any suggestinos let me know! I will keep my dynstay updated for you all to enjoy!

yea i started a cav dynasty as well but before i tell u waht i did.. i was wondering do u play all the games? and how many minutes? do u sim any games? if so how many. whats ur settings? and when u play the games.. does the cpu substitute at all? i use andrews roster and they dont auto substitute unless in foul trouble. sorry for all the questions i jus wanna know how other ppl play their dynasty

I play with the Cavs too, and this really works well for me. First I start a dynasty and hire (1) Assistant HC (1) Trainer (1) Scout (3) Assistants.
(hire the lowest paid assistant hc, trainer, and scout) Then hire 3 really decent assistants. Go to training camp and on the first assistant max out offense. On the second guy max out defense. With the 3rd guy max out athletics. Then save the dynasty. With a DBF editor change your staff to all A+ status and 3 year contracts then edit all the rookies for the following draft. When you are done save that dynasty as Season 1 and never delete it. (that way you never have to do all of that ever again). Load the dyansty and after you play a few games you can just save your dyansty in another slot. (don't overwrite)
Ok during the season trade Anderson Varejao to Philly for a first round pick and their worst player at some point during the season. Throughout the season train your players well especially Shannon Brown, Daniel Gibson, and Drew Gooden. (You have 3 trainers so you can really get your players to do well). I go 4 weeks at a time. They will gain around 5-8 overall attributes. (By the way I also changed "learning" to 99 and "work ethic" to 0 in dbf editor).
