I thought this would be a nice idea. My aim in this dynasty is to build around Yao and Mr. Franchise. All of the rest will be delt for expiring contracts. I will try to pick up some draft picks early in the season although aquairing expirings will be goal number 1.

Progress
I will be playing the first game tomorrow. Im running out of time and I gotta ref a tournament tonight.

Progress
As I wanted to clear up cap room, I first delt star shooter and starting guard Cuttino Mobley, along with jailbird Eddie Friffin to Memphis in return for Bonzi Wells. I only threw in Griffin because of cap reasons and because in real life, he isnt on the Rockets Roster. Basically it was Bonzi for the Cat. BTW, Eddie Griffin's photo was "Unavailable"

Title Up For Grabs
With scoring sensation Bonzi Wells now calling Houston his home, the Rockets look like title contenders. Although the Lakers now have 4 future hall of famers, Houston General Manager James23WCR now beleives they have a real shot. "With Yao in the middle, Stevie directing traffic and Bonzi left to roam, I really do see us taking it this year" he said at a press confrence held yesterday.
**Note From Editor: Shaq was on the 40 hour famine whilst the photoshoot was in progress. Sorry. Ed.

Does anyone have any Suggestions in what else I should do to my side? Who should i get, wh should i keep?

Should I deal Francis and what for if so? The only player who is untradeable is Yao. He is such a dominent player.

Yeah im liking this Dynasty, would be nicer if you played full quarters or longer ones at least,

I think you should maybe Trade Stevie for someone like Wade, then you would get a nice fresh young guard.

Maybe you could look to the teams that are under the cap, and try a trade with them.

Goodluck, im enjoying reading it.

BTW maybe you should move the difficulty up, so far you are winning easy (Y)

.

Sun Apr 18, 2004 8:01 pm

Thanks. I really do appreciate you reading my dynasty and your feedback is always welcome!

About Francis: I may deal him for a Wade like player. Im thinking to get a younger player plus a first rounder? Anyway, I'll look into it.

About Playing Time: School holiday's officially ends in 4 hours so I think keeping it at 3 minute quraters is only nessasary due to time restraints.

Difficult: Now that you say, yes, I will raise the difficulty setting up next time I play.

.

Sun Apr 18, 2004 8:09 pm

BTW, what do you guys think of my trades so far? I have aquired some youth and expirings and delt hefty contracts.

Bonzi Wells goes up hard against the Phoenix Suns

Well. Im relieved that I won this one. I raised the level of difficulty to 4 stars and what a game it was. I was down by 11 at ahlf time. At the beginning of the 3rd, Marion went down with an injured knee and I went from there. Yao was swatten shots like there was no tomorrow and Eric Williams came up big after being benched earlier in the game. [/b]

Mon Apr 19, 2004 7:14 pm

Wow, Mike Wilks for Al Harrington, you can call it a steal

Is Bonzi Wells satisfying ? I signed him in my Dynasty but immediately traded him for Jamal Crawford, to get some cap room. Should I regret this move ?

.

Tue Apr 20, 2004 5:35 pm

well, he can definetly hit an open jumper and can nail the fade away. he is always scoring around the 8ppg mark so yeah, i wouldnt have delt him. he's the only player in free agency i actually want to get back
