The National Ballers Association is a league full of 30 owners who have love NBA Basketball and playing basketball video games. Most of us are Nintendo era age gamers who grew up playing Double Dribble, Jordan vs Bird, Lakers vs Celtics etc but unfortunately we don't have the time (or the skills any longer) to get together and play a game of 2k. We did however find a way to still enjoy the game by forming a league where we draft a team and act as owners of a franchise.

Today we start our 5th NBA season and hopefully you follow along to see how things go throughout the season. I'll post updates as the season goes along from game action and game results and some of the transactions each owner makes as they try to win the championship trophy.

Let me first explain how the league works. We each have a team drafted a team from a pool of all current and past NBA/ABA players each rated with there best season. We also hire coaches and they are rated on there best season. We formulate game plans where you are able to set your lineup and choose a particular playbook you want to use. We then actually let the computer decide the results. We do simulate some games, but about 60-70% of games are actually set to watch. It seems like alot of games to watch, but we have a person who owns his own business and enjoys running the games for us and sending out the results. Trades can be made between owners, free agents may be signed, coaches can be fired and so forth and so on.

Hopefully you will enjoy how the league unfolds and feel free to comment!
