2015 playoffs - Conference Finals PreviewWestern Conference
1. Oklahoma City Thunder [54-28] vs 6. New Orleans Hornets [44-38]
Oklahoma City have been pushed to six game by both the Mavericks and Lakers so far in this playoff campaign and they should be wary of a repeat against the giant-killing Hornets. Superstar Kevin Durant will probably have to improve on the 24 points per game that he is averaging in the post-season if he wants another shot at winning the championship. One thing in the Thunder's favour is the interior defense of duo Serge Ibaka and Larry Sanders who have the potential to shut down on the New Orleans' biggest offensive weapons, the inside scoring of big men Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson.
The Hornets on the other hand have exceeded their wildest dreams by reaching this point, their first conference finals appearance in franchise history. They won't be content with just making it this far though and will give their all to have a shot at winning a first championship. All eyes have been on rising star Anthony Davis to lead the team, but surprise package Tyreke Evans has continued his solid regular season form in the playoffs. If he can continue his strong play and expose Jeremy Lamb and Kevin Martin on the defensive end then the Hornets could well cause another upset.Playoff Stats Leaders

1. Washington Wizards [73-9] vs 6. Chicago Bulls [46-36]
Washington had a much easier time against Indiana than they did against the Magic. They did drop one game but always looked in control of each game in the series. Rookie Andrew Wiggins totally upstaged the more experienced Paul George. It will be fascinating to see how he goes head to head with Jabari Parker in this series. Some people believed that Wiggins was robbed by Parker in the rookie of the year award and he may just have a chip on his shoulder in this series and want to prove that he is the better player.
Chicago have played fourteen games so far after being pushed to seven games by the 76ers and Cavaliers. It is only three games more than the Wizards have played, but could be a big factor in such a tight series. Bulls fans will be fairly confident about this series despite losing the season series to the Wizards 3-1. They are hoping that star Derrick Rose can produce the same form against Washington as he did in the regular season when he averaged an amazing thirty-nine points per game in the four contests. That included 53 and 47 point efforts back in February.Playoff Stats Leaders

2015 playoffs - NBA Finals Preview1. Washington Wizards [73-9] vs 1. Oklahoma City Thunder [54-28]
Washington head into their first finals appearance in 35 years as slight underdogs despite their record breaking 73 win regular season. In their three playoff series so far this post-season they have only had trouble stopping two players; LeBron James and Derrick Rose. Considering that the Thunder have Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, they could be too much for this young Wizards team to handle. On the other hand though Andrew Wiggins and John Wall have been in great form themselves and will provide spectacular match-ups against those two Thunder superstars.
Oklahoma City reach the NBA finals for the fourth season running. So far they have only converted one of those chances into a championship. In 2012 and 2014 they lost to Miami both times, but they won their first championship since moving to Oklahoma City against Milwaukee in 2013. Superstar Kevin Durant is having a strangely low scoring season this year but the depth of talent around him allows the Thunder to remain the leaders of the western conference. The Wizards should perhaps be more wary of Russell Westbrook, who was the standout in their 2013 finals win and was named the MVP ahead of Durant.Season Series
