LaMarcus Aldridge has been doing work.
Portland Trailblazers: Not Turrible
November 14, 2010 - After our 94-84 defeat at the hands of the Hornets ended our four game winning streak, there has been a lot of negativity from Blazers fans. Typical... Even without two of our Centers, we are 8-3, easily tops in our division. Life in Blazerland is going well.
LaMarcus Aldridge has been playing very well as of late. Despite getting lit up by doppelganger David West last night, the artist formerly known as "Smalldridge" has averaged 20 and 10 over the last five games. He notably carried us to a major revenge blowout win over the Thunder in OKC (take that, hicks!). He has been notably more aggressive on D, and has taken it into the paint more often. It remains to be seen whether he'll keep this up, or regress back to his mid-range jump shot taking ways.
Here are a couple pics (happy memories!) from the OKC game, and the results of the last three games:![]()
Rudy Fernandez is back, and better than ever! | Remember when Harden was being compared to Roy. lol11/9/2010: Pistons @ Blazers
After dominating the first quarter, an apathetic Blazers team slowly let the lowly Pistons back into the game. However, a run in the fourth led by Nicolas Batum helped put Detroit away.15 20 28 25 87 (3-5) | R. Hamilton: 20/4/4, 9-13 FG; R. Stuckey: 14/1/6, 6 TO's, 5-17 FG (Shitass)
28 21 17 30 96 (7-2) | L. Aldridge: 21/14/1 (PotG); N. Batum: 23/7/1, 4-6 3pt
11/12/2010: Blazers @ Thunder
Portland got revenge on the Thunder in a big way. After getting destroyed by their rivals at home, Portland used a huge game from LaMarcus Aldridge to destroy the Thunder. The game was close in the first half, before Aldridge began to dominate the smaller Jeff Green in the third.32 33 30 18 113 (8-2) | L. Aldridge: 25/9/2, 12-19 FG (PotG); W. Matthews: 18/3/2
36 24 21 14 95 (5-3) | R. Westbrook: 18/3/12; K. Durant: 17/4/5, 8-26 FG, 3 TO's (Shitass)
11/13/2010: Blazers @ Hornets
Brandon Roy was great, but Chris Paul and the Hornets were better. After a competitive first three quarters, New Orleans burned the Blazers in the fourth, snapping Portland's four game winning streak. David West had season highs of 29 points and 14 boards in the win.19 25 23 17 84 (8-3) | B. Roy: 27/4/8, 10-15 FG; R. Fernandez: 0/2/0, 0-4 FG, 2 TO's (Shitass)
25 16 27 26 94 (5-3) | C. Paul: 24/5/8/4 steals, 7-10 FG (PotG); D. West: 29/14/0
