Dude, your team died on rebounds. Garnett grabbed 16! If your star player is Starbury, good for you, but you really need somebody better than Starbury if you're going up against the best teams in NBA. Keep Starbury, but you really need to make some trades to get some nice guys who put up a bunch of points. That would get you out your losing streak fairly quickly and Brooklyn will be ballin'!

Chill man, the team is made up of free agents. Will improve during the next years to come, I'm just trying to made some story out of it. Will be ballin in no time

November 25, 2009
Los Angeles (AP) -- There is an old saying that strike when the iron is hot, the Brooklyn Ballers made a move similar to that. When Kobe Bryant got into foul trouble early in the second quarter, the Ballers continue to attack especially Morris Almond.

Almond during the 2nd and 3rd quarter scored a combine of 20 points. "Well it's more easy to focus on scoring if Kobe is not guarding me." he said. Derek Fisher and Pau Gasol made it a close game until the mid of the 4th quarter.Halfway to the 4th quarter Kobe gets it going as he scored 6 straight points, he also shuts down Almond's scoring.

But the leader of the team Stephon Marbury answers all the basket made by the Lakers. Gasol made a dunk to regain the lead 97-96 with only 41 seconds left. Unfortunately the Ballers turn it over and Fisher strips the ball off Marbury and pass to a rushing Ron Artest. Artest was going for an easy lay-up but Daruis Miles block him out of bounds still Lakers ball with 28 seconds left. The Lakers looking for the finishing blow they give the ball to Kobe, Kobe drives to the basket and made a pass to the open Artest but the pass got intercept by Miles and goes for the game winning dunk.

The Ballers snapped their 2 games losing streak, they also snapped the Lakers 7 games winning streak.

Very impressive road win against the Lake Show. Starbury would be MVP, if your team would be doing better. :P

There is nothing wrong with losing to the Celtics....but beating the Lakers is a great feat. Morris Almond outplaying Kobe is amazing (I dont even know this guy)

Re: Moving to Brooklyn|Chapter 2 - Bring in the new guys

Chapter 2

“And that ends tonight’s game, the Brooklyn Ballers come up with the victory over the defending champ.” Marv Albert said. “We have Cheryl Miller with Daruis Miles.”

“Yes Marv I’m with tonight’s hero Daruis Miles, what were you thinking with that last play?”

“Well I know Kobe is going to pass the ball, he is very predictable. This is a statement that I’m one of the best in the league.” Miles said.

Miles goes to the team’s locker room, he can hear the boos coming from the fans because of what he said. When he entered the locker room he was quickly called by Ewing.

“What’s up coach, you’re going to praise the hero?” Miles said cockily. “You did a good job out there son, I like your comment very cocky but still good. Now go with your teammates and celebrate.”

Miles went on to his teammate, he saw Marbury talking Almond. “Great game kid but you must work on your shots, don’t try to force the issue.” Marbury said. “Yo Captain, nice of you to give some advice to the kid. You know Morris you need to learn from the good guys, maybe you and I can have some practice and maybe you can be a star too.” Miles said.

“Look who’s talking put a sock on it Daruis this is your only good game of the season so far.” Brian Cook said. Everybody laughs and throw towels at Miles.

“Well that was a good win.” Julian Martin said. He was talking with Jay-Z on the phone. “I hope our team continues to win games.” Jay-Z said. “Don’t worry man, after these big win expect to have a winning streak.” Martin said.

After the Lakers game the team went on two lose the last two games of the month, a 24 points loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and a heart breaking loss the Chicago Bulls. Morris Almond was shutdown with those games, Daruis Miles was not even a factor and the team was also out rebound.

“We need someone else to score out there Martin and we got to have a suitable big man.” Jay-Z said.

“I’m working with that man; here take a look at these guys.” Martin said.

“Well I like the other two but I’m not sure with this one, are you sure about this?” Jay-Z said.

“Definitely” Martin answered with a smile on his face.

Three New Players for the Ballers

Image Image Image

Brooklyn (AP) -- Three new players have been signed by the Brooklyn Ballers for the rest of the season. Kareem Rush, Michael Olowakandi and Tarence Kinsley are the new players to the Ballers roster.

Rush who has been a journey man in the NBA would likely to be the 6th man of the team. Olowakandi is a former no.1 pick but many consider him a bust, hopefully he will add some depth to their bigman rotation. Kinsley is former guard of the Memphis Grizzlies will be a back-up for Stephon Marbury because Will Conroy is currently struggling.

There are some guys in the free agent pool that is more worthy to signed but the Ballers really stick to their reputation of only signing scrubs.
