::In the fourth::
The Kings were shooting much better from the field and they were able to hold Kobe to 0 points in the fourth quarter. It all came down to the final 40 seconds when the Kings were up by four and it was Lakers ball, Atkins took it up and knocked down a three from beyond the arc, Amare quickly got fouled and he only managed to get 1 of 2 freethrows with 11.2 seconds. This was the Lakers last chance, again Atkins took the ball up but this time went inside, split the D and put upa lay-up which spun around the rim and bounced out! With 2.7 seconds left Mihm got the rebound but was quickly double teamed as time ran out and the Kings took the win with a score of 108-106.
