Well, LeBron James struggled scoring wise for the first 3 quarters, mainly because he wasn't on the court with foul problems, so it was back-up Jarvis Hayes providing the scoring punch for Washington as they went onto a 117-91 victory over Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets in Denver. Kwame Brown was again earned POG honors, with 8 points and 23 rebounds (rebounding ratings have now been turned down for both USE and CPU) while Gilbert Arenas had 18 points and 4 assists, while LeBron finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists.

In other Kwame Brown news, he is now #3 in MVP Candidates.

Well, the Wizards have finally gotten above the .500 mark, but it didn't come without a cost. The Wizards lost Kwame Brown to injury in the 3rd quarter of the Wizards 135-123 victory in Seattle. Kwame Brown injured his right wrist, and will be out for 3 days, meaning the remainder of the Wizards West Coast trip, with the last two games in Portland and in LA against the LA Lakers.

For the Sonics, Ray Allen absolutely torched me with 55 points, and new NBA season high, breaking Jerry Stackhouse's 51 point effort awhile back while he was still wearing Wizards blue.

Kwame Brown still got POG, with 23 points and 21 rebounds, while LeBron James had 31 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.

With Kwame getting hurt, that means both PF's Kwame and Christian Laettner are out injured, forcing the team to sign a PF, and they chose 6'7 Reggie Slater.

Going into the game against Portland (10-3), the Wizards seemed a little nervous playing without Kwame Brown. But right from the start, the Wizards took complete control, jumping out to an early 17-2 lead, and scores we at 42-24 at quarter time. But in the second, the Blazers came storming back, closing the gap to just 6 points at the half. And while the 3rd quarter was pretty even, Portland ended the 3rd with a 2 point lead. But Washington didn't give in, taking back the lead for good, winning 139-129, extending their West Coast trip record to 3-0. Gilbert Arenas was POG, with 35 points, 2 rebounds and 10 assists, and LeBron James had 31 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists, despite sitting out the last 8 minutes of the game because of foul problems.

Last game of the West Coast trip, in LA against the all-mighty, Shaq, Kobe, Gary, Karl and the Lakers.

Well, I was in the game for 3 quarters and 9 minutes, because in the final 3 minutes, the Lakers just blew away Washington, winning 129-111. :(

After that game, the Wizards returned home to play Detroit, and I won. That's all I can say right now, have to go to work.

Well, the Wizards are back on the road. In their first stop, they played the Dallas Mavericks. The Wizards managed to take an early lead, but Dallas ended up having the lead at quarter time. During the next 3 quarters, both teams would have their good and bad moments, with Dallas blowing the lead up to 20, then Washington getting it down to under 10, then Dallas would blow it up and again, and Washington would make another run, it was that same routine right throughout the second half. The Wizards got as close as a single point, but then it got blown up again. The Mavs eventual 150-143 winners. LeBron James was hurt in the 3rd quarter, but returned mid way through the 4th.

"Watching the game from behind the Wizards bench, I got pretty scared when I saw LeBron get hurt", said Wizards GM MJForever. "I was relieved when the team doctors told me he would be able to return to the game."

The Wizards next stop is in Memphis (who have a friggin 86 team rating) to take on Pau Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Wizards currently stand at 9-8 for the season.

After the Washington Wizards game in Dallas, all teams were notified of the NBA's Players and Rookies of the Month. Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics took out Eastern Player of the Month, while the Timberwolves Kevin Garnett took the Western Player of the Month. With the rookies, Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets took Western Rookie of the Month, while in a surprise decision, Darko Milicic of the Detroit Pistons took Eastern Rookie of the Month.

Just played in Memphis and in Milwaukee. Won both games, with the Memphis game being pretty high scoring with the final scores being something like 133-119. And the Milwaukee game was surprising low scoring, 109-91. Hey, that's low scoring for me alright! Gilbert Arenas was POG against Memphis and LeBron was POG against Milwaukee. Sorry, can't remember their stats.

Season record now 11-8.

Next Game: Wizards @ Pacers.

Well well well, the Wizards have another low scoring game, mainly because I've decided to slow down the pace. The Wizards got home 113-106 in a another game in which Kwame Brown was hurt. He had to sit out the remainder of the game with a left arm injury, but he does not have to miss any games, phew. After Kwame's exit, LeBron played some PF, and was even matched up against the bigger Jermaine O'Neal, and LeBron did a really good job on him. I think Jermaine only managed 4 points and 1 rebound while LeBron was guarding him. LeBron really picked up on the rebounds, grabbing a career high 18 boards, to go with his 31 points and 5 assists in a Player of the Game performance. Kwame had 12 points and 16 rebounds before going out hurt. Etan Thomas also hurt his arm, but was still playable, but did not return to the game.

Wizards return home next game to take on Tracy McGrady and the 10-11 Orlando Magic (huh, cyber Magic playing better than the real Magic!). Former Wizards Juwan Howard and Tyronn Lue return to Washington.

Wizards are sitting comfortably at 12-8, good for 5th in the East, and 8th in the entire league!

Well, after having the weekend off, I returned to my Dynasty to take on the Magic. It was close the whole game, and LeBron went off for a career high 55 points, to go with 8 boards and 3 assists, but it wasnt enough as the Wizards went down 150-148 in overtime. T-Mac had 44 points.

After going down in OT to Orlando, the Wizards next big task was Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wizards got off to a good start, leading by 5 at the first break. The Wizards pulled away in the 2nd quarter on the back of LeBron James, leading by 13 at the half. During the 3rd, the T'Wolves were slowly chipping into the lead, with scores locked at 98 at 3 quarter time. The T'Puppies got off to a great start in the fourth, scoring 14 of the first 16 points, but Washington came back hard led by none other than LeBron James, as the Washington Wizards came away with a 133-127 victory, with LeBron earning POG honors with 39 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Played the Knicks and Jazz today, and damn I love playing at the Garden. Even in a damn video game, that arena has a great feel.

To the games, LeBron James had first career triple double, posting 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a very good win for the Wizards. Can't remember the final score, somewhere in the 100's to 90's.

Against the Jazz, it was all Washington. The lead was as big as 32 at one stage, but the Wizards let it slide a little, finishing with a 112-92 win. LeBron James struggled with foul problem's early in the game, 3 fouls in the 1st quarter, and didn't return until the second half. He finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists. While Kwame Brown was POG with 11 points, 18 rebounds and 8 blocks.

Next game is in New Jersey, the Wizards sitting very pretty at 15-9, good for 3rd in the East.

I forgot to mention in the previous post that I also defeated Minnesota in Washington. I'm on quite a streak.

Now for the game in Jersey.

The Wizards got off to a huge lead early, and they kept it up for the entire 48 minutes, although the lead did shrink in the 4th. The Wizards once led by as many as 28 points, but New Jersey fought hard to come back, but came up short as the Wizards came away 131-125 victors. LeBron James barely missed out on his second triple double, putting up 35 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. 27/10/4 of which came in the 1st half. Gilbert Arenas may have found his shooting, going for 22 points, and although he only shot 6-16, he started off 4-6 from the field.

Wizards are still 3rd in the East, at 16-9.

Juan Dixon got hurt in the game against New Jersey. He left the game with a back injury, and will be out for 3 more days with bruised ribs. Go figure.

GOD DAMN! LEBRON IS A FRIGGIN LEGEND!

I played in Miami, and the final score was 126-126. So we head off to OT. In the final seconds, Miami snatches a one point lead. So I call TO with 1 second remaining. I set up the play so LeBron is playing center, and Thomas is passing the ball in. I pass it to LeBron, catch, turn, shoot, SWISH!!!! Wizards win. The refs didn't even review it. 140-139.

LeBron has done it again. With 1.2 seconds left, James hit a driving finger roll to give the Wizards a 128-126 win over the Bulls in Chicago. LeBron finished with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

Wizards now just 1.5 games behind the East leading Philadelphia 76ers, with a 19-9 record. Philly is 22-9 or something like that.

Played 2 more games, against Atlanta and Golden State.

The Wizards got off to a huge start against the Hawks, leading by over 20 at quarter time, but in the 2nd, the Hawks closed the gap, and they were with 9 points at half time. The Hawks continued their comeback in the 3rd, closing the gap to 2 points at 3 quarter time. The 4th quarter was a struggle, as the lead kept going back and foward between the teams. At the end of the game, the score was 104-104. We head to OT. LeBron James decides to attempt to lead his team to victory, but after an extra five minutes, a winner could still not be decided. We head to a 2nd OT. Where the Wizards got off to a quick start, scoring the first 6 points. The Hawks had it back down to 2, but couldn't any closer as the Wizards pulled away in the final minute, ending a grueling game, with a 133-128 victory. LeBron was once again POG.

To start the new year, the Wizards hosted the Golden State Warriors, and it was close all the way through (the guys musta still had a hangover from New Years parties). For most of the game, it was the Warriors in control, but the lead was never bigger than 10. And both teams had their spurts, the Warriors getting up by 9, then the Wizards bringing it back to 2, and vica versa. In the end, it was the Wizards getting their 9th straight win (tying a franchise record, set by the 2001-2002 team led by Michael Jordan) with a 114-109 win. Wizards improved to 21-9 on the season, and now only trial the 76ers by a single game.

Time for the Player/ Rookie of the Month Awards:

East Player: Paul Pierce (BOS)
West Player: Steve Francis (HOU)
East Rookie: TJ Ford (MIL)
West Rookie: Carmelo Anthony (DEN)

LeBron James was snubbed in the East Rookie award. Ford ain't doing shit compared to LeBron.

In the Points/ Rebounds/ Assists stat:
Ford: 11/3/8
James: 25/8/5

Sorry I haven't been keepin you guys updated, but I'm sitting at 28-10, after having my 16-game winnin streak snapped on my own court by Stevie, Yao and the Houston Rockets, 108-99.

LeBron is #5 in MVP Candidates.

I'm getting pissed off with Gilbert Arenas, his shooting is pathetic, in a good game, he'll go 5-20. In a bad game, ya don't wanna know. And he ain't even gettin many assists either.

Time to deal Gilly? Should I try to make a package for Jason Kidd? Stephon Marbury?
