Great dynasty here bro. Pretty realistic results as well, although the Pistons won't beat the Magic like that this season :P

Detroit Pistons @ New Orleans Hornets

Final Result : 101 – 100

DETROIT AP) – The Detroit Pistons were a part of yet another closely contested game. This time against the New Orleans Hornets. Ben Gordon nailed the game winner at the buzzer , and it was a difficult one , contested , and of balance. „I just stayed focused on the rim and made the shot“- Gordon said.

He had a solid outing in the game as well. Gordon is really having a career season . He is averaging career bests in points , field goal percentage , steals and has improved in every single category since last year. He finished with 24 points in the game with 4 assists and 2 assists.

But the true hero of this game was Tayshuan Prince. The veteran forward scored 16 points in the fourth quarter , finishing 11/16 from the field and also nailing 3 thee pointers. He kept Detroit in the game in the key moments. Prince finished the game with 26 points and 8 rebounds.

Rodney Stuckey , is just like Gordon , also having a career best season , but his improvement is much more significant than Gordon's . Stuckey scored 16 points in this one , dishing out a game high 11 assists and grabbing 4 rebounds as well. Stuckey also had 3 blocks.

It wasn't all bad for the Hornets. Emeka Okafor had a great game , scoring a team high 22 points and grabbing a game high 14 rebounds. The big man also had 4 steals , 3 assists and 2 blocks. It was a great all-around performance by Okafor.

Chris Paul was also balling .The former Rookie of the year racked up 15 points , dished 9 assists and grabbed 9 rebounds. He really showed the repertoire tonight with some beautiful passes.

Pistons bench out scored the Hornets one by 12 in this game. Detroit was also great from the three throw line , going 17/18 for a percentage of 94. They committed 13 turnovers compared to just 3 from the Hornets. Hornets had 13 steals compared to Detroit’s one. They also out rebounded the Pistons by 9 , but didn’t manage to take the win.

Detroit Pistons @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Final Result : 96 – 106

DETROIT (AP) - Despite the Pistons starting guards combining for 58 points in this game , the Wolves win this one by 10. The main reason was again a bad game from the Pistons big man and a poor outing from the young swingman prodigy , Demar Derozan .

Derozan is averaging slightly over 10 points at this point of the season , but I reckon that was what Pistons fans were expecting out of the young stud. Sure he brings highlights night in and night out , but he has to score over 10 points in 7 out of 10 games , not 3 out of 10.

Ben Gordon is continuing to have a monster year so far , scoring a game high 30 points in this game. The guard also had 5 rebounds and 3 steals. „I am really feeling good at the moment , if I up my performances just bit , I may be on my way to my first all-star appearance“-Gordon was optimistic.

Rodney Stuckey also had a great night. The guard had a double-double , scoring 28 points and dishing 12 assists. He also managed to pull down 3 rebounds in this game. Many of his passes will be on the highlight reel tonight.

Tayshaun Prince had yet another solid outing tonight. The veteran forward finished the game with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Prince also blocked 2 shots.

The story of the night for the Wolves were their good performance from everyone. They had 5 players in double digits , and 4 of them also had 6 rebounds or more.

Kevin Love was beasting tonight. The rebounding machine cooled of a little on this game , rebounding only 7 times. But he scored 25 points , had 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Michael Beasley is having a break out season this year. The former #2 pick has established himself as the top scorer in Minnesota this year , scoring 22 points tonight and grabbing 9 boards.

The rookie Wes Johnson had his best game of the season so far. The swingman had 18 points in 29 minutes of playing time. He also managed to collect 8 rebounds.

Detroit only scored 9 bench points , a season low for them. They attempted 27 free throws , making 22 of them. The only good thing on defense continues to be the blocking , as the Pistons blocked 11 shots this given night.

Five game Wrap up
----------------------

New Head coach Deon Ewing is slowly finding his rhythm in this Detroit squad. In this five game wrap up the Pistons went 3-2 , loosing two times to the Raptors , where former Pistons , Richard Hamilton is now playing. Derozan is starting to perform on a more consistent basis , and if he lives up to his potential , this could be a heck of a turnaround year for the Pistons.

Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors

Final Result : 90 – 103

Hamilton and T-mac returned to the city of Detroit. Although it was supposed to be Rip's return , it wasn't really. Tracy McGrady stole the show. Couple of highlight moves and T-mac looked like his old self in this game. But Hamilton wasn't too shabby either. The duo combined for 42 points and took the win from Detroit. Rodney Stuckey had another great outing as he was the leading scorer in this game.

[size=150]Top Performers

Tracy McGrady : 24 pts , 5 ast , 6 reb , 2 stl
Rodney Stuckey : 27 pts , 5 ast , 2 stl
Ben Gordon : 18 pts , 4 reb
Richard Hamilton : 18 pts , 5 ast , 3 reb

Detroit Pistons vs. Atlanta Hawks

Final Result : 100 – 81

This is the second time this two teams have met this season, and both times Detroit has managed to take the win , mainly because Demar Derozan had a good night , finally. Johnson and Smith were very good for the Hawks , but the rest of the team really failed to deliver , as they were 37 percent from the field without the duo. Again the Pistons back court had a good game, but there are some problems occurring. Due to Stuckey's and Gordon's rise to stardom they have become more selfish.

Top Performers

Demar Derozan : 20 pts , 5 reb , 2 blk
Joe Johnson : 26 pts , 4 reb , 6 ast , 3 stl
Josh Smith : 22 pts , 11 reb , 4 ast , 2 blk , 2 stl

Detroit Pistons vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Final Score : 107 – 87

This was a really good game by Detroit. Villanueva was absolutely fantastic of the bench as he out shined rookie sensation Blake Griffin. Villanueva is performing better than Prince as of lately and his starting spot could be jeopardized. Two bench players of Detroit were in double digits today , as one was the games top scorer.

Top Permormers

Charlie Villanueva : 28 pts , 9 reb , 25 minutes
Ben Gordon : 20 pts , 4 ast
Chris Kaman : 19 pts , 12 reb
Rodney Stuckey : 16 pts , 10 ast , 4 reb
Blake Griffin : 15 pts , 10 reb

Detroit Pistons vs. New Orleans Hornets

Final Result : 108 – 99

Both New Orleans and Detroit had three players with 20 points or more , but Detroit did had five in double digits , and that helped them get the win. Derozan had another solid outing , as his consistency level is slowly getting up. In this game we witnessed a great point guard battle . Chris Paul won it individually , but Stuckey's team had won the game, and that is more important.

Top Performers

Demar Derozan : 21 pts , 6 reb
David West : 25 pts
Trevor Ariza : 25 pts , 9 reb , 2 stl
Chris Paul : 20 pts , 10 ast , 3 reb
Charlie Villanueva : 20 pts , 4 reb , 2 blk
Rodney Stuckey : 20 pts , 8 reb , 2 stl
Ben Gordon : 19 pts , 3 reb , 2 ast

Detroit Pistons @ Toronto Raptors

Final Result : 83 – 113

„ Next time we play the Raptors we are taking the win , mark my words“- Demar Derozan said after they lost last time. This game was even worse , as they lost by 30 points. Detroit did , however , have five players that scored in double digits , but none of them scored over 16 points in this game. The season series now stands at 0-2 .

Top Performers

Andrea Bargnani : 23 pts , 9 reb
Richard Hamilton: 20 pts, 5 ast
Tracy McGrady : 19 pts , 6 reb , 4 ast , 2 stl
Charlie Villanueva : 15 pts , 10 reb
Ben Gordon : 16 pts
Rodney Stuckey : 14 pts , 9 reb

Boozer lead his team to a victory.

Highlights | Recap | Play by play

Detroit (AP) – Pistons fans witness a poor outing from their home team , as Chicago easily takes the win. The Pistons committed 16 turnovers , as they continue their slide of poor ball control , which started right at the beginning of the season. Chicago , on the other hand , had just 6 turnovers , maybe that was their key to tonight's victory.

The Bulls are having a heck of a year as they are currently sitting at the top of the Eastern conference . Perhaps the main reason is Derrick Rose. Although he had a quiet game today , scoring 16 points and dishing 8 assists, Rose is constantly putting up 25 and 8. He can have a good shot at the MVP award if both his and his teams performances continue to be great as they are now. „Derrick is probably the best point guard at the league, he really lifted our team to a complete new level this year“-Noah said.

But the best player tonight was Carlos Boozer , hands down. The veteran forward completely abused the Pistons forwards / centers en route to his 30 points. Shots were just falling for him , as he had a hot hand the whole game. Boozer also managed to grab 7 rebounds in his teams winning effort.

The Bulls had a good game on the boards , mainly because of Joakhim Noah. The center had a season high 17 rebounds , as he seemingly got his hand on every missed shot tonight. He did however, failed to impress on the offensive end of the floor , scoring just 6 points , with 3/9 shooting from the field.

Detroit's players , although they had good numbers , played awful. The worst moment was when Rodney Stuckey was driving towards the hoop and went for the layup , when his team mate Ben Gordon was WIDE open on the perimeter. After that play coach Deon Ewing sent both players to the bench, because they are refusing to pass the ball to each other the last few games. „They better sort things out , they are really harming the team at the moment.“-coach Ewing said.

Stuckey did had a good performance statistically. He scored 25 points , had 4 rebounds, but because many of his assists are connected with Ben Gordon , he had just 3 of them. Stuckey better start passing the ball to Gordon if he wants to keep his assist numbers up. Gordon had a good night as well as he scored 20 points.

One of the stories for the Pistons is the inconsistency of Demar Derozan. In this night , it looked like he had never had trouble with it. The young swingman scored 19 points , grabbed 3 rebounds and dished 3 assists , which interestingly , were all to Ben Gordon. It seems like clans are being made in the Detroit team. Lets hope they move over that and shine as a team !

A team - a group of players that play TOGETHER. The Pistons are not a team

Charlotte hands Pistons yet another loss

Highlights | Recap | Play by play

Detroit (AP) – The Pistons need to be a team. The Stuckey – Gordon feud is really just making it worse. „It's like we can't stand each other , and I really think that we are a good bunch of guys“ – forward Tayshuan Prince said.

Why did Detroit loose now ? 3 reasons : Points in the paint , rebounds , and the backcourt not playing together.

Charlotte managed to score 52 points in the paint , that says a lot about the Pistons interior defense. Stephen Jackson seemingly scored the basket every time he posted up , so did the rest of the Bobcats crew. Captain Jack had 32 points , 5 rebounds , 6 assists , 2 steals and was 3-6 from beyond the arc. He really put his team on his back and led them to an easy win.

Rebounds , a big problem for the Pistons this season. On this night they were out rebounded by 12. That margin is too big to get away with a win. The frontcourt has really been awful in every category this year , and it seems like Detroit's play-off wishes are slowly sinking.

The Pistons backcourt. Although statistics might fool you, Both Rodney Stuckey and Ben Gordon didn't pass the ball to each other ONCE during the whole game. „I am not passing him until he gets over the fact that this is my team.“-a cocky Ben Gordon said. Both players had decent games , especially Gordon. The sharpshooter had 34 points and 6 assists , he was also blazing from deep , going 6/9.

There wasn't really a turning point in this game. The Bobcats led trough out the whole game as Detroit never seemed close to contesting their lead. So Stuckey was not hot. The promising player went 3-16 from the field , for his worst field goal percentage game of the season. Nice job Rodney , you did manage to dish out 12 assists . He had his share of bad moves tonight , but hey , he only turned the ball over 3 times , and that category is a big problem for him this year.

Newly hired Detroit Pistons head coach Deon Ewing had a lot of problem on his mind. Since he came , the starting backcourt players quickly emerged into stars , but that proved to be a bad thing.
Both Stuckey and Gordon refused to pass the ball to each other on practices , games , scrimmages , it was an awful thing for the team and for the chemistry. A good thing was the whole league just thought it was because of the bad performance of the team and things will quickly be back to normal.

„I've got to find out what's happening , this will ruin the team“- Deon thought to himself.
He was sitting in his office , turning around in his chair trying to figure out what caused the fight. It couldn't be him , as he is in the team for really a short period of time . Deon couldn't solve this puzzle so he went to ask for an advice to his boss , Joe Dumars.

After the two had a conversation about the problem , Dumars handed all the rights to the head coach so he can get the two players to be friends again . „Just don't cross the limit boy „ –he said.

After he got permission from his boss , Deon went to the practice which was scheduled for that morning. As he came , he asked all the players to sit around the Pistons logo on the center of the Practice court and started talking.

„Boys , i think it is obvious to the whole team that we have some issues. We have them on the court [points to the frontcourt] , and we have them off the court [ points to the back court]. Now , we will manage to solve our on the court struggles with time , as we get to know each one better. But to have two players embarrass this organization by saying stuff like „this is my team“ to the press , that is just unacceptable. Ben , Rodney , you both stand up now. I am your coach and your boss and I demand an explanation, what the hell are you two doing , are you really just trying to break up the team , make clans and destroy the chemistry ? Tell me ! „

-Deon was furious. But he got no reply , the two just stood there and didn't say a word. As Deon asked the team about the problem between the two , a player answered „Coach we are sorry but it's their thing and we don't want to interfere“ -

„ Oh guys that's just not fair. I was hired to make this team a winner again . Frankly with this roster it will be difficult , and with this you are just making it worse. Ben , Rodney , I have trade offers that include you two going to Utah for Al Jefferson. I just may trade you somewhere, but you will remain in the same team ! Until you two get back to being friends , you are banned of practices and games , good bye ! „ –Ewing said as he exited the gym and left his assistants to take charge of the practice .

Deon knew he made a mistake with that move , because the whole league will know about the fight between Stuckey and Gordon , and teams will no longer be interested in them. But he hoped that the players have some self respect and that they wouldn't like to be a part of an NBA scandal, so that they will get back to normal. A risky move by Deon.

THAT DAY IN THE OFFICE

Deon was sitting in the office looking the trade offer from the Utah Jazz. It was really a stupid move for Utah because they already had Williams at the point guard spot , so that would bring Rodney to the bench. „He is just a too good player to be on the bench , and a good person , sorry Jerry , but I am going to have to reject your offer“-he said to Jerry Sloan of the Utah Jazz.

Deon had other plans. He didn't want to trade no starters , but to change the bench rotation a little bit. The bench wasn't performing well this season , and the biggest disappointments were Will Bynum and Jason Maxiell . Deon wanted to get a good shooting backup for Stuckey and a defensive minded player who can also shoot the ball to back up Ben Gordon.

After about an hour of surfing trough the trade blocks he though he founded a deal. It was a three-team one and included both Bynum and Maxiell leaving Detroit. Now it was negotiating time. Deon was really good at this things as he is an convincing person.

After thirty minutes of negotiating , a deal was made. It was a deal between Detroit , Milwaukee and Cleveland. The trade will be covered at the next article later on this day.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later on that day things were back to normal. The whole team went to the office and apologized to Deon for their behaving. They brought a card which said said all about how sorry the team was about their act. The gruop bonded a little bit. Ben and Rodney were in a fight anymore , as they shared a few kind words and laughs. The team was really a team now. Deon had a big smile on his face . He decided to tell the players about the trade. The players took the news pretty good as their rotation is a bit changed now .

So there you have it , coach Deon made a good move during the practice , he made a good trade which you will see later on. The Detroit Pistons avoided a scandal.

Bynum , Gibson and Wright are just three of the six players that will change teams in this trade.

Detroit , Golden State and Cleveland agrees to a change of rotation trade

DETROIT (AP) – A slight change of rotation will take place at this three places : Cleveland , Detroit and Golden State. Milwaukee decided not to make the deal that was „made“ in the last episode of the Detroit Chronicles , but head coach Deon Ewing quickly founded an acceptable deal that will make all of this three underachieving sides a little bit better.

Detroit sends away explosive point guard Will Bynum to Cleveland , and rebounding forward Jason Maxiell to Golden State , along with a 2011 2nd round pick. Will Bynum was stuck behind merging star Rodney Stuckey , and hasn't really got that much playing time this season , and it has been rumored before that Bynum is unhappy with his role at Detroit. Jason Maxiell was having an OK season thus far , similar to his last season in which he averaged 6.8 points per game along with 5 rebounds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers send Daniel Gibson to Detroit. Gibson was out of the rotation the whole season , as he was the third point guard of the team , behind Sessions and Williams.
„I am glad to leave Cleveland , hopefully I can get more playing time in Detroit“-stated Gibson. Cleveland also sends forward Joey Graham to the Warriors. The 28 year old role player is hoped to bring some energy off the bench for Golden State.

The Golden State Warriors send defensive minded shooting guard with a decent three point stroke , Charlie Bell , to the Detroit Pistons. Now Detroit gets everything they have wished for. They get a 3pt specialist point guard and a defensive minded shooting guard who can also shoot the three. The Warriors also send forward Dorell Wright to Cleveland. Wright was having an awful season thus far , but it is a surprise that they are giving such a talented player for a below average player like Joey Graham . .

Detroit Trade Grade : A

Detroit got everything they wished for their bench to be , and really gave up nothing. They got Gibson and Bell. They are still enough forwards on the team , and maybe now they have a better chance of competing ofr the Play-offs.

Cleveland Trade Grade : B+

Cleveland sends rarely used point guard Gibson and they get an explosive one in Bynum. They also got a talented scorer in Dorell Wright , and what did they give up , Joey Graham ? Nice job Cleveland.

Golden State Trade Grade : D+

This was a unnecessary move by Golden State. Sure , they are really under performing this year , but with this trade they didn't get any better. They lost some talent in Wright , maybe the only player on the team that can play defense in Bell , and they got two players that don't fit into their run and gun style of play. They are defensive minded, maybe Golden State is looking to change their style of play a little bit ?
