when i was doing my cavs season JJ was great at catch and shoot player for me , also hit his share of 3's.

Forgot to answer that, my bad.

Well, Jumaine Jones isn't a good player... I tried using him as you said, a spot-up shooter, didn't work. I remember, back in my Philly franchise in Live 2001, he was good at that. Doesn't work now, dunno. I will resing him and trade him for some better player in the offseason. I'm thinking about trading Darius Miles and DaJuan Wagner for Ben Wallace and some other Pisstons player. Tried that just to test, it worked, (Y); I'll try to trade Ilgauskas and Boozer for Rasheed Wallace and Sabonis too. This is a great trade for me, cos Sabonis contract (about 150.000 points) expires after one season... Voila, cap space to get some bench help.

I'd get a lineup like:

Ben Wallace
Rasheed Wallace
Dunno (once, just testing, I signed Ron Artest on the free agency)
Ricky Davis
LeBron Bron Bron

What do you guys think? Opinions please.

Well, dreamin' aside, I played another game tonight. Against the Hornets, lost, due to Baron Davis' 33 points, 3 boards and 5 assists. He nailed a three pointer with the game on the line, there was nothing I could do about it.

Mashburn had 18 points, 5 boards and 2 assists, Wesley had 15 points and 4 assists, nothing else for them.

For my team, Ilgauskas was the top player, with 21 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block. Boozer had 12 points and 13 boards, plus 1 assist and 1 block, DaJuan Wagner had 11 points, 2 boards and 3 assists, Ricky Davis had 14 points, 5 boards and 5 assists and 2 steals, and LeBron James had 20 points, 4 boards and 8 assists, plus 2 blocks.

I'm 15-11 now, 4th on the East.

Played 1st playoff game, too. Against the New Orleans Hornets. Won, 99-93. It was a good game, much different than that Lakers franchise crap.

Stats here:

Miles: 12 points, 3 boards, 2 blocks
Not much from the others...

For the Hornets:

Baron Davis: 31 points, 3 boards, 6 assists... usual dominant self, dunking at will
Jamal Mashburn: 19 points, 2 boards, 4 assists, 6 steals (!)
Jamaal Magloire: 13 points, 6 boards, 1 assist, 2 blocks

I got so happy I didn't even bother to check who I'm goin' to face next... (Y)

try to get rid of Yogi,Mihm for a better 6th man..or a starter like Clark or sumthing...u need better big man to back up boozer and ilgauskus...

Thu Jul 31, 2003 2:26 pm

Well Vins15, we're in the NBA Live World, injuries doesn't exist! Ilgauskas' feet are made of iron here! lol, Boozer plays heavy mins for me, so my bench help for he and Z are ok IMO... I'll see what I can do after the season is over...

Well folks, conference semifinals for me, against Boston... Best of 3 games. Won the 1st one, something like 102-93. It was a flawless game by me, I really enjoyed playin' this game!

Now I'm goin' to face Indiana in the Eastern conference finals. On the West the matchup is Seattle (!) vs. Minnesota.

Are you still looking for a SF? If so how about Andrei Kirilenko? He is quite good to play with, He can hit open shots from all over and isn't too bad in the paint, also he usually develops into a superstar quite quickly. Just a suggestion...

Fri Aug 01, 2003 12:57 pm

That's ok man, I'll take a look into AK-47 when the offseason comes, (Y)

what about Big Dog, btw? he can shoot from outside or post up in the paint, its really fun playin wit him in mah sixers franchise, jalen rose is a cool sf, 2

Sat Aug 02, 2003 12:36 am

Cool, but I don't want a forward who dominates the ball so much... I want the ball to be in LeBron's hand most of the time... That's why, as I said in previous posts, I might look to trade Ilgauskas/Boozer/Wagner/Miles for Ben Wallace/Rasheed Wallace/someone else... I think that works fine with the playin' style I have.

BTW, I'll be away for 3 days, when I come back I'll see if I can play another game and keep you guys posted, (Y)
