Rashard Lewis Was On Fire Against The Pacers Shooting 12-19

SeattleTimes: It was tough it was brutal but the Sonics pulled
through again and defeated the Pacers 87-84 in a tight defensive
battle. Indiana led almost all the way till the 4th Qtr came and
Lewis and Allen took over and outscored the pacers 26-21 in the
4th Qtr. "Well it was tough but we thought through and got this big
win and we move to 3-0 on the year this should give us some huge
confidence" Lewis said who scored 32 points.
Ray Allen chipped in with 23 points and Nazr Mohammed scored 17
and pulled down 6 rebounds. For the Pacers artest had a good
scoring night scoring 17 points and of the bench Fred Jones
contributed with 16 points. "We were confiedent all game we played
hard and i thought that we were playing team basketball but to the
end i dont think we did Rashard hit 3's so did Allen we just didnt
fight at the perimiter and just let easy shots go in thats what lost
us the game" Ron Artest said.
Coaches Comments
Rick Carlisle:"Well its tough we came to Seattle pumped and ready
but we just could not retain them they are strong finishes and they
dont give up we had a 5 point lead with 54 seconds to go and we just
didnt hold the ball or even defend on the other end"
Bob Weiss:"We thought hard and never gave up im proud of the boys
and what they have done this season if we can keep up this pace were
looking towards are good season but i just hope it continues and we can
string together a few more wins"

the clippers time Maggette and Cassell leading them to a huge
victory. "You know we knew that we were in a big hole and
we just had to dig threw it and come through and thats what
we did" Cassell said. But Mobley suffered with an injury.
For the Seattle SuperSonics Lewis had 21 points 22 for Allen
and Mohammed scoring 21 and grabbing 17 rebounds. "We
played one good half they played a very good 2nd half
thats all im saying" Ray Allen said, a big shine Luke Ridnour
dished out 10 assists and is averaging 7.5 a game.
