Lakers (2-0) looking for third straight win against the Milwaukee Bucks (0-1)
LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Lakers are coming off a 2-0 season start with a blowout win against the Denver Nuggets, and a close game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The next challenge that lays ahead will be the Milwaukee Bucks led by All-Star Michael Redd. The Bucks lost their season opener against the Chicago Bulls as Keith van Horn led the team with 26 points.

Lakers star Kobe Bryant will play limited minutes due a thumb injury on his shooting hand, which will give Kareem Rush more minutes. The Bucks are counting on Michael Redd, who made his first All-Star team last season to see the atvantage now that the 2003/2004 All-Defensive 1st team member Kobe Bryant wont up against him as much as usual.

The Lakers won their 6 last meetings against the Bucks. Milwaukee´s last win against the Lakers team was back in the 2000-2001 season when then swept the season series 2-0

Lakers (2-1) to play at losing Trailblazers (0-4)
PORTLAND (Ticker) -- The Portland Trailblazers are still looking for their first win of the season after losing 4 straight games.

Missing the playoffs cost the Trail Blazers a share of the NBA’s all-time record for the most consecutive playoff appearances. The Philadelphia/Syracuse franchise established the record on 22 consecutive playoffs from 1950 to 1971. Portland remains second on the list with 21 straight.

The Trail Blazers tied the season series last season against the Lakers as both teams won 2 games. The Lakers played their final NBA game of the 2003/2004 season at the Rosegarden as the Lakers walked away with a win thanks to 2 buzzerbeaters from the 3-point line by Kobe Bryant, the first one to tie the game, and the second one to get a win.

The Lakers just got back from a tough loss against the Milwaukee Bucks (1-1), as the Lakers started the game with 39 points in the opening quarter. But they eventually lost the game thanks to Michael Redd who shot almost .800% from the field as he scored 53 points. A season high so far for the NBA.

Im sorry about this short recap, I wrote a better and longer one. But when I wanted to check out the stats in the game, my computer crashed so I didnt get the chance to save it. So I just simulated the game and used sme parts of the old recap to make it as good as possible.

dude this is really strange. i've never seen this timeout cutscene before. its nice

Fri Nov 12, 2004 1:44 pm

Damn!!! Do u get paid by the Lakers organization for this dynasty?

Fri Nov 12, 2004 1:49 pm

I noticed in that bucks game, that you took 41 three's :? you tried to match redd's performance from beyond the arc?

if you can, maybe kobe will have to be involved a little more to where he is getting like 30, 7 and 5 because thats what he is kind of doing in real life. i do like the way you are keeping his ppg down though, because your showing that the lakers can be good without kobe being dominate.
