December Recap
Team Record: 15-13|Division: 3rd|Conference: 7th
What a month for the Brooklyn Ballers, they started with a loss against the Houston Rockets then they got a three games winning streak. After that they loss three straight and things doesn’t look good with all the injuries they suffered.
But a miracle just happen, the future and the face of the franchise Shelton Smith had an amazing performance. I’m not going to explain what he did; you just might want to look at his game against the New York Knicks. He just delivered the shit to them.
The Ballers are currently on a five games winning streak and Smith is the one leading them. In five games Smith averages 37.4 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 6.6 APG, 3 SPG and 1.6 BPG, pretty incredible numbers for a rookie but he did struggled early this month.
The Ballers also had a huge help from their bench, Tony Allen, Derek Fisher, Kyle Korver and the newly acquired Kurt Thomas. If they continue their performance reaching the playoffs would be easy. But they also have some problems with some of their players mainly Morris Almond and Brian Cook, maybe before mid way into the season those two will be shipped.
