Played 5 more games, and now at 4-3. On a 2 game win streak. Both against Phoenix.

The first win against the Suns was in Washington by 18 points, once trailed by 11. The second against the Suns was in Phoenix by 41 points, never trailed. Biggest run was 19-0.

Kwame is currently getting 15/10 a game, while Stackhouse is getting 26ppg.

Since my last post, I have made 2 trades.

1st trade- Tyronn Lue, Bobby Simmons and Kenyon Dooling to the Phoenix Suns for Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway, Joe Crispin and Scott Williams.

2nd trade- Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway, Juan Dixon and Joe Crispin to Golden State Warriors for Richard Hamilton, Gilbert Arenas and AJ Guyton.

Waived AJ Guyton, signed Kevin Ollie.

Rotation:

Haywood/ Thomas/ Williams
Kwame/ Jeffries
Stackhouse/ Maggette
Hughes/ Hamilton
Parker/ Arenas/ Ollie

My rookie Emmanuel Shand is still on the IR.

I currently stand at 20-9. In 2 games since the last deal, Rip has averaged 18ppg off the bench, Arenas has been not as good as I'd hope, and Ollie is playing for the first time this season and is averaging 4pts, 3reb and 7ast in limited minutes.

Rip is a wizard again. I think u have too much talent on your team now, but whatever it takes to win.

I may make a trade to make things a little more challenging, coz I haven't lost since I acquired Rip Hamilton and Gilbert Arenas. Who should I deal, and who for?

At the moment, I'm leaning towards Laddas idea and dealing Rip for Ron Mercer.

See if you can get a good three point shooter, like Lamond Murray for instance to back up your SG/SF. I always find it very hard to play when my bench can't shoot from three, because I like to play with outside threats.

Well, I did Rip for Mercer straight up, and the good thing is Mercer's deal is in it's final year, and I sent Corey Maggette with Brendan Haywood to Utah for Karl Malone and Steven Hunter, and Parker was dealt for Speedy Claxton.

Rotation:
Kwame/ Hunter
Malone/ Thomas
Stackhouse/ Jeffries
Hughes/ Mercer
Arenas/ Claxton/ Ollie

Mercer now wears #7.

I hope I am done trading for the year. What do you guys think? Team ranking has dropped from 9th to 19th, which should gimme more of a challenge.

I've played my first game since the 3 deals. I got home in a close one in Memphis. I won 85-80. Stackhouse led the team with 20 points, while Kwame struggled a little, getting 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. But he earned POG honors. Karl Malone had 8 points and 7 rebounds in his first start of the season, while Arenas had 8 points and 8 assists in his first Wizards start.

not looking good...Malone is coming into retirement..and need to bulk up the PF postion..Kwame is too small..gets overpowered easily..espically against big centers...Ilgaukaus,Yao,Shaq...

I think that is prolly the main reason he traded for Malone mate.

Think About it.

and hows Mercer, you like his mid-range, he seems to have one of the best mate. hes playing well in my nuggets chise.

Yeah, Mercer has a great mid range shot, but it's not too crash hot when he's got a hand in his face. But as an open shooter, he can't miss.

Yeah, I traded for Malone I know he will likely retire, and his deal is in it's final year, (it's only a 135,000, 1 year deal) and he will come off the books, as will another high priced player (can't remember who, Mercer I think) so I will be swimming in points come FA.

Ummmm, I suffered an embarrasing and ugly loss. And it had to be in Chicago didn't it. I went down 99-77 as Stack lead the Wiz with 19 points, Malone lead the way in boards with 9, and Speedy Claxton came off the bench to lead the way in assists with 6. Kwame Brown had a disaster of a game, with 8 points and 4 rebounds, but he dished out 4 assists.

I lost again, this time at home to the Sacramento Kings, by 7 points. Sorry I can't remember the final score.

Jerry Stackhouse was dissapointing on 9-25 shooting. Kwame bounced back from his off night with 18 and 12.

Nah, Karl is just a role player now. Get rebounds, play defense, and get some easy buckets. I think he had like 6 points and 4 rebounds.

Just got a commanding 100-74 win over the Celtics in Boston.

POG- Jerry Stackhouse, 27 points, 7 reb, 1blk and 3 ast.

Honorable Mentions:
Kwame Brown, 17pts, 14reb, 5blk and 2stl.
Gilbert Arenas, 10pts, 2reb, 5stl and 12ast.

The Wizards host the 16-31 San Antonio Spurs on the first day of February.

Just played San Antonio, and I was lucky to escape with the win. The game went to OT and Kwame Brown short jumper with just over a second remaining gave the Wizards a 89-88 OT win.

Kwame was POG with 22pts, 12reb, 5blk and 6ast.
Stackhouse lead the team in scoring after a horrible first half, finishing with 28pts on 48% shooting.

I played 4 games today, including the All-Star Game. I won all 3 games, including a close game after Seattle came storming back from 21 points down.

Kwame Brown made the All-Star team as the starting center, but unfortunately, he was the only Wizard to make the team. Houston had 3 players, Franchise, Yao Ming and Mobley on the West team. The East came out victorious with a thrilling 1 point win, 93-92.

Kwame Brown was the All-Star Game MVP, with 28 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks and 4 assists.

During the post-game press conference, Kwame Brown told the media that this was just the start of something big.
