This matchup was a very big one in the Eastern Conference as the 76ers had a chance to completely pull away from the Nets in the Standings and not have to worry about yet another Eastern Rival. The Nets had a solid record coming into the game and wanted to prove that they were a match for one of the East's elite...but that did not happen. The Nets looked very disorganized at the start of the game and Philadelphia took it to them. Although Vince Carter and Richard Jesserson had quiet games, Jason Kidd single handedly tried to pull the Nets back into the game but it was not enough. Philadelphia's bench, which has been the best in the League so far, had a spectacular game and dominated against the New Jersey Nets and put together several runs and the lead just continued to grow. When Philly's starters came back into the game, they were no different than bench as they continued to push their lead. Jason Kidd hit some big Three pointers and Vince Carter started to come alive but the Nets just didn't have it in them as they were crushed by the 76ers by a final score of 117-99.

Wow, a big victory over the Nets. I wonder if Krstic can play defence? Even Green dunked on him! AI again shooting over 50% from the field which is a good sign for the Sixers. Now, go get the Pistons!
It's going to be a tough game for C-Webb with the Wallaces petrolling the lane...I think you should try to get a big game with AI (the Answer, not Iggy )
