After the Wizards sweeping of the Atlanta Hawks, Kwame Brown held a press conference when he returned to Washington DC.

Q: Kwame, congratulations on winning MIP. What are your personnal goals now?

KB: Well, next season, I hope to have a better year then I did this year, and maybe in 2 or 3 years, I can be an MVP candidate.

Q: Are you going to be the go-to-guy next season?

KB: I don't know, that's coach's decision. Coach has liked what I've done this year, and if he wants to take it one step further next season, that's great, but if not, no big.

Q: Can this team win the NBA Championship this season?

KB: Absolutely, I mean, we got to the finals last year, but are inexperience apart from Michael of coarse hurt us, but now we've been there, and we look to win it all this year, and send Michael out the way he should be.

Q: Are the rumors about a coaching change next year true?

KB: I have no idea. When Michael returns to the front office next season, probably in the GM position, if he wants to find a new coach, I'm cool wit dat. Coach Collins has been great.

Q: If Doug Collins isn't the head coach next year, who would you like to see be the head coach?

KB: Ummm, prolly GM MJForever. He's been at our training's this year, he's been very involved with the coaching decisions, sitting on the bench with the coach's at all the games. Yeah, so if Doug isn't here, I want MJForever as coach.

Q: Thanks Kwame.

KB: No problem.

I have played Game's 1-4 in the 2nd round against Indiana. And the series is locked at 2-2. Wizards took Game 1, Pacers took Game 2, Wizards in a blowout in Game 3, and Wizards go down by 3 in Game 4.

The series returns to Washington for Game 5, goes back to Indiana for Game 6, and Game 7 if required will be in Washington.

In the EC Finals against Indiana, I went on to win 4-3. I just couldn't win in Indiana, (except for Game 2) and now I face the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

Game 1- The Lakers were lead by Derek Fisher with his parade of 3 point bombs, as the Lakers went on to claim Game 1 in LA.
Lakers lead 1-0

Game 2- The Wizards were unlucky not to win Game 1, and they kept to their game plan in Game 2, eventually getting a split in LA, as the Wizards took Game 2.
Series tied 1-1

Game 3- As the series moved to the nations capital, the Wizards took full advantage of their home court, as they went on to a very solid Game 3 win, led by Kwame Brown.
Wizards lead 2-1

Game 4- The Lakers were very dissappointed with their performance in the previous game, and led the game up until the final minute, with the Wizards stealing a 1 point win, and a chance to win the NBA Championship in Washington in Game 5.
Wizards lead 3-1

Game 5- At MCI Center, Washington DC
Game 6- At Staples Center, Los Angeles (if required)
Game 7- At Staples Center, Los Angeles (if required)

WIZARDS ARE THE 2004 NBA CHAMPIONS! Riding the back of Kwame Brown, the Wizards led all the way, and despite a brief fightback from LA, who got the lead down to 6, the Wizards blew it back up to 18 points.

Congratulations to Kwame Brown on winning the 2004 Finals MVP award.

Five games into the 04-05 season, the Wizards have got off to a shaky start at 3-2. Kwame Brown continues to be a monster for the Wizards and is averaging 27 points per game, 10 rebounds per game, 2 assists per game and 6 blocks per game. Yet, he is not in the Top 5 MVP Candidates.

Andrew, can you explain that one to me? Why isn't Kwame in the Top 5?

i rekon all u have to do is increase his scoring a littel or his rebounding, u play 12 quaters aye so dat shudnt be too hard if u play him a little more, make him your main man like pierce or mcgrady dat plays like the whole game or at lest 35 mins+. i had lebron with 37 points, 12 assists 3 blocks and 2 steals, but only 3 rebounds, and im crap at rebounding wit my team so i jst increased his assisting a bit and he was stragit in to number 2 candidate behind mcgrady who avs 39ppg 8 apg and 8 rpg.
anyweay hows old john going 4 ya??

I play 6 min quarter while the simulated quarters are 12 mins. Could that be the reason? As for Amaechi, he's just being a role player, just going out and rebounding and getting garbage points, but when's he's on the court with Thomas, Etan dominates that boards.

good stuff i think having an even or slightly over 500% record is far more fun cos it makes the playoffs more of a challenge.
but sadly im 19-2 this season but i do have a team molded to my playing style.

This is gonna sound weird, but last season when I went 70-12, I was kinda pissed coz I was winning so much with a young team. But I'm kinda annoyed that I'm not winning as much as I was last season with a team that has improved, despite trading away it's best player in Jerry Stackhouse.
