The Bulls and Heat should be great this season. I like Sheed on the Thunder, but it would be even better if they still had Durant.

sorry man but the difference is, one might become a beast, while one IS a beast. i just don't see Beasley threatening to drop a 40+ pt triple double on an opponent whenever he feels like it. not now, not in the future.

not only does the Heat have Chalmers, Flash and the King, but they snagged Boozer and your budding bigman Brook Dope-z in free agency!? seriously, you should lose by 25+ AT LEAST every time you face that hit squad

i'm certain of it now... not "probably" but as Bill Walton would put it, "What were the Ballers thinking? This HOORRible trade will go down as the biggest flub in the HISTORY OF THE NBA!"

They may say this trade is pretty stupid but I really liked your trade. Lot of improvements can be seen on Beasley and so does Jones. That gives an interesting story for a developing team having some young developing players.

I think they traded Durant because they see him being a douchebag like in Sit's dynasty

Well in trading superstars there is always a loser and a winner, unfortunately we are the losers.

Thanks man, but I don't think Jones is a developing guy.

Oh, crap!!! I missed Boozer and Lopez when scanning the line-ups.

Yeah, you're screwed. This reminds me of when the Denver Nuggets went around signing like every awesome free agent in the NBA for the minimum in Live 2003. They ended up with their starting line-up looking like this

Pos. Rating.
C) 90
PF) 92
SF) 94
SG) 91
PG) 95

Playing the nuggets that season was a @#$%ing nightmare.

The Brooklyn Ballers made an impact in the offseason by signing the biggest star in the market Lebron James, but shortly after signing him they practically gave them to the Miami Heat.

Many have questioned the Ballers decision on this one, but Jay-Z and GM Julian Martin said that it would be best for Lebron if he is in the other team. But to make up for their poor decision they signed 5 time champion Derek Fisher and a veteran bigman Brendan Haywood.

They also got two promising rookies in the 10th pick Lee Davies and the 1st pick Shelton Smith. Both are good and talented. Smith declared that if he doesn't give Brooklyn a championship trophy then call him a bust.

With seven new players, team chemistry can be a problem on this team. Can headcoach Patrick Ewing lead this team? We'll soon find that out as the 2010-11 NBA Season is near to start.

October 28, 2010
Brooklyn (AP) -- Shelton Smith proved that he deserves to be the 1st pick, with his all around game he lead the Brooklyn Ballers to their first win of the season. He had 22 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.

“That goes to show how great I’ am, I already beat two great players. Pierce and Durant are both great but I’m better.” Smith said.

Smith had plenty of help, fellow rookie Lee Davies finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Newly acquired Michael Beasley had 25 points and 11 rebounds and captain Stephon Marbury finished with 19 points.

Game Notes: Robert Swift played with his former team and finish with 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

4 Game Recap

After the Ballers made a huge upset against the Boston Celtics they suffered two straight loss against rival New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks. Rookie Lee Davies struggled in both of those games and Derek Fisher began to adjust to the team and scored 25 points on a losing effort to the Hawks.

Against the Milwaukee Bucks, Fisher showed again why he the team picked him up. Fisher nailed a rare 4 point play to stopped the losing streak at two. Michael Beasley led the team with 25 points in that game.

Against the Washington Wizards, Fisher scored 20 points off the bench. While rookie Shelton Smith had a monster game. He finished with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals and 6 blocks.

The Brooklyn Ballers will hope to continue their winning streak against their next opponent the Houston Rockets. The Rockets currently have a 5-0 record. Allstar center Yao Ming leads the team, they also have the backcourt trio of Aaron Brooks,Kevin Martin and NLSC rookie Thierry Tiriuex.
