Nuggets end their loseing streak in Toronto, winning the injured Raptors.
Bosh is suffering from a broken bone in his foot and will be away for a long time. Without him the Raptors only had a slim chance in winning the Nuggets.
The home team did take the lead early as Nuggets looked a little tired. Julius Hodge was the only one full of energy, he had 6 points in the first. Melo started to heat up, nailing some fancy fade-aways. He had 12 in this quarter. Peterson had 9 points, keeping the home team in the game with the help of Villanueva.
Raptors made a nice run to take a 32:43 lead in the second, forcing George Karl to take a time out. Toronto led 53:51 at the half. Charlie V had 10 points, 6 rebounds, a steal and a block. Melo had 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.
Nuggets made a comeback to take over the lead, this time they kept it until the end. A three point buzzer-beater by Hodge at the end of the third gave the Nuggets a 79:73 lead after three quarters of play. Hodge is not considered as a good three point shooter but he has showed that he can hit them if open. Hodge finished with a career high 16 points.
Toronto had a chance to win as they trailed by 7 with one minute left. They had to foul but Nuggets were able to give the ball to Andre Miller, who made 8 of 10 from the line. He ended all hopes Raptors had and finished with a season high 16 points.
Post-game facts:
*Camby was POG with 14 points, 15 rebounds and 11 blocks
*Melo had another huge game with 37 points and 7 rebounds

Carmelo Anthony had constant foul trouble and was forced to sit out the majority of the game. He was fouled out in the fourth. Without him the Nuggets lost.
Anthony got his second foul early in the first. Arenas was unstoppable. Nuggets were able to stay in the game mainly thanks to Hodge and Lenard. It was 30:25 after the first, Wizards led.
Double teaming Arenas in the second helped but then there was Jamison. K-Mart could not stop him but he did tear the Wizards defense apart with his monster dunks, forcing the host team to duble team him.
Somehow the Nuggets still managed to keep up with the explosive Wizards . After the half it was 53:59, Wizards still with the lead. MC had 8 points and 8 rebounds while Arenas had 15 points.
Nuggets had to make some changes in their lineup as Melo was out with fouls. Hodge took his position and Lenard played SG. But without Melo they couldn't stay with the Wizards who expanded their lead to 12 early in the third. When it seemed that Nuggets will lose this for shore, Boykins stepped up and took the game over for the second time this season. It was Boykis who nailed 4 three pointers and 2 jumpshots to give the Nuggets a 74:72 lead.
At the start of the fourth Nuggets trailed by only two. But it was the lackluster defense that gave Wizards the win. Caron Butler had 13 this quarter, witch the Wizards won 23:33.
Another loss will leave the Nuggets in a bad position. They need to keep the first place in the NorthWest division to have any hopes of makeing the playoffs this year.

Nuggets trade
After the recent loss to Washington Wizards, Nuggets fell second in NorthWest division and 10th in Western Conference. Being out of the playoff spot was not what the team had in mind for this season. The management decided to shake things up with a trade.
The trade included two teams and five players: Nuggets sent Greg Buckner, Bryon Russell and DerMarr Johnson to the Golden State Warriors for Mike Dunleavy and Chris Taft.
Taft was a "throw-in" player, the obvious objectiove was to get Mike Dunleavy. He's averageing over 10 points and 3 rebounds and 3 assists this season. In Dunleavy, the Nuggets got a tall player who can score easyly. At first Dunleavy will be the back-up SF, but later on he might be used as a starting SF if Anthony feels confertable playing SG.
Both Taft and Dunleavy are on their last year so the Nuggets have and option of not signing them for the next season.

Without Kobe and Parker on the floor, the Lakers' lead would decrease so you can imagine Phil Jacksons' reaction when Smush went down bad late in the second. The collision with Julius Hodge was not so hard tho as Parker returned after the half.

Nuggets had a two point lead with 19 second left, Lakers fouled Dunleavy, who made 1-2. They could not score on the next possession and had to hope that Melo would miss his freethrows. But no, he nailed them both, giving the Lakers a slim chance to win. Camby was fouled and he made 2-4 to win the game for the Nuggets.
