yeah a very nice dynasty for a kido like you.

i like the the way you describe things that happen by using those red arrow just like i saw when commentators do an analysis of some play.

and as they say try to zoom your pics unless if you want us to see what happening in the whole court. while scrreny like those ginobili steal you can zoom it to show the specific play.

about your english well your okey with it. i can say you made much effort than me in writinh every detail of what happpen in your game.

keep it up as i said even if i dont post comments i doesnt mean i dont read or support your or any dynasty.

Good stuff, especially for a 12 year old :o.
I like the screens, but maybe you can make em a little bigger, I'm on a 56k modem and I wouldn't mind. Also make a bit longer comments on the screens.

Good thing that you are posting the stats for some players and the red marking is a new feature in nba live dynasty screens which I believe we will see many ppl use in the future.

It would be awesome if you could contiune with the quarter recaps, hope you do so.

Keep up the good work (Y)

Thanks you guys for your nice comments (Y).
Filip, soccer was the source of the red marking. :) And yeah, I'll try to make them bigger, will a 400x350 pic be aight ? :) Yeah I'll continue the quarter recap, don't worry about it (Y).

Well, pictures are a bit bigger.

In the starting 5, I changed Bowen for Brent Barry, so here's the starting five for this game :

C - Radoslav Nesterovic
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Brent Barry
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker

For the 1st time, the Sonics showed us their new yellow jersey.

In The 1st Quarter :

Seattle always leaded by 3pts or 4pts, nothing really huge, but at the end, I stealed the ball, Duncan scored a hook, and, in the last 10 seconds, I did an awesome Alleyoop (Y). Devin Brown passed to TD and... BIG BANG ! :D And, after that, I leaded by one point.
For the first time, my FT% was really good. :) I did a good 3/4, 75% althoutgh Seattle did a 100%, 4/4. Ray Allen did 2 fouls quickly so he was on the bench... Same for Tony Parker. :( Rashard Lewis was Seattle's best scorer in this quarter with 8pts, Vladimir Radmanovic was Sonics' best rebounder and Luke Ridnour, Antonio Daniels and Vitaly Potapenko were tied with one assist. For the Spurs, Tim Duncan did an explosive 1st quarter with 12pts and 4rbds. He was Spurs' best scorer and rebounder. :D Tony Parker was the best "assister" with 2 pass. :)
Some small stats :
Seattle : 7rbds (1 off. and 6 def.), 3assists, 1steal, 2blks, 3 fouls, 4 TO, 10/18 on FG (55,6%), 2/2 3pts (100% (Y)).
San Antonio : 5rbds (1 off. and 4 def.), 7assists, 3steals, 2blks, 5 fouls, 2 TO, 11/20 on FG (55%), 2/4 3pts FG (50%).
So the 1st quarter was quite nice for both of teams. :)

Score at the end :

In the 2nd Quarter :

In the 2nd quarter, I started with :
C - Tony Massenburg
PF - Malik Rose
SF - Linton Johnson
SG - Bruce Bowen
PG - Devin Brown

At the beginning, Seattle immediately scored two points (two FT), San Antonio didn't score in the first minute, and Devin Brown was immediately changed. Tony Parker was back on the floor. Since TP was on the floor, the Spurs scored, Linton Johnson did a nice lay-up. :) But, after that, Seattle scored two points, made by Nick Collison. Immediately after that, "Substitution for the San Antonio Spurs : Tony Massenburg for Rasho Nesterovic". Rasho got a big defensive rebound :) and San Antonio started their attack. Rasho was PG for that attack , Rose was in "Post-Up", Rasho immediately passed to him and Malik scored a lay-up. (Y) Seattle didn't score because Linton Johnson stealed the ball. TP tried a fade-away 3pt shot but he missed. Seattle scored after that. 32-31 for Seattle and 6:01 left in the 2nd quarter. Ray Allen was back, TP lost the ball and Seattle started their attack. Barry was also back. Seattle didn't score. Manu Ginobili was back, and passed to TP but he missed the shot. BUT ! Rasho got the rebound and dunks ! Parker and Potapenko lost the ball. Parker was out, he did his 3rd personal foul. (N) "Mirage block" by Manu and Tony Massenburg on Antonio Daniels. :o In the money time (2 minutes left :P), I've started to panic, I wasn't able to score, Seattle did two blocks in a row on TD. Barry was also blocked by Lewis. So I immediately called a Time-Out. But nothing changed, Beno Udrih lost the ball and Seattle started their counter. But Massenburg blocked Allen (it was his 3rd block (Y)). AND once again ! Massenburg blocks Allen ! Awesome play ! :):):) FINALLY ! Manu Ginobili stealed the pass and he went for the counter attack and, he dunked !! (Y) Seattle immediately called a Time-Out. I did a 1/2 on FT with TD. 10seconds left in the 2nd quarter. Ray Allen missed the last shoot. End of the 2nd quarter !
Rashard Lewis scored 2pts in this quarter, 3 were tied in rebounds, 4 rbds for each and 5 were tied in assists, with 1 for each player.
For San Antonio, Manu Ginobili was now Spurs' best scorer with 15pts in the 1st half. TD was still Spurs' best rebounder but he didn't grab any rebound. Same for Parker, he was the best passer and didn't do any pass.
Some small stats in the 2nd quarter :
Seattle : 9 rbds (3 off. and 6 def.), 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blks, 2 fouls, 7 TO, 7/17 on FG (36,8%), 0/1 3PT FG (0%), 6/9 FT (66,7%).
San Antonio : 7rbds (2 off. and 5 def.), 1 assist, 5 steals, 4blks, 7 fouls, 8 TO, 8/19 on FG (42,1%), 0/4 3PT FG (0%), 1/2 FT (50%).

Score at the half :

Key players at the half :

In the 3rd quarter :

I started with my 1st Starting 5 :
C - Radoslav Nesterovic
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Brent Barry
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker

At the beginning, I did too many fouls with Ginobili, and he was in trouble with 5 fouls. Parker did 4 fouls. I was already at the limit for fouls. Seattle totally dominated me at the beginning. But I started a comeback in the 5 last minutes. :) Lewis was too strong. I started to play a 1-2-1-1 Full Court Press. Nothing changed, they were too strong. I wasn't able to score many points, they blocked me with James. Rashard Lewis scored 12pts, Radmanovic was the best rebounder, he did 7rbds in the 1st half plus the 3rd quarter. Daniels was now the best passer, he did 2 passes in this quarter. Ginobili didn't score, he was in trouble but he was still my best scorer. Duncan grabbed 1 rebound and Parker did 1 assist.
Some small stats :
Seattle : 11rbds (3 off. and 8 def.), 2 assists, no steals, 5blks, 3 fouls, 7 TO, 8/19 FG (42,1%), 1/1 3pts FG (100%), 6/10 FT (60%).
San Antonio : 11 rbds (3 off. and 8 def.), 1 assist, 5 steals, 2 blocks, 6 fouls, 6 TO, 8/23 FG (34,8%), 0/5 3pts FG (0%), 2/2 FT (100%)

Score at the end :

In the 4th quarter :

I started with the same Starting 5 as the 3rd quarter.
C - Radoslav Nesterovic
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Brent Barry
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker

I totally dominated with my 1-2-1-1 Full Court Press, I catched up Seattle and we were tied. 4:27 left. 84-84. Who'll win ? Manu was immediately on the bench, Bowen came. He did a nice 3rd quarter :). Brent Barry was also good. Both of them did many steals and assists. Bowen made a 3pts, he did a good game. TD did a 2/2 on FT. My FG% was incredible. Duncan was awesome !! (Y)(Y) He did an excellent game inside. Barry did another steal.
I'm winning 84-88. Rashard Lewis just did an offensive foul. Rasho was great (Y). Duncan missed a layup, Allen made a lay-up in counter. 86-88. Duncan dunks. 86-90. Another layup by Allen. 88-90. 2:25 left in the game. Another dunk by Duncan. 88-92. 2:05 left, Seattle called a time out. Fortson missed the lay-up. :P Barry missed the lay-up. Duncan gets the rebound, passes to Nesterovic, shoots, but misses. Allen scored another lay-up . 1:30 left, 90-92 for Spurs. Spurs passes the ball, it's now for Parker, he shoots, he misses, Nesterovic gets the rebound, passes to Barry, Brent passes to Rasho, dunks, but Fortson fouls Nesterovic. 2 FT for Spurs' center. 1/2. 90-93. 1:05 left, Seattle called a time out. No time out left for the Sonics. :D Seattle scored. 92-93. Spurs lost the ball, but Daniels did a 8 second violation !! (Y) Great defense by the Spurs !! 22.9 seconds left. Intentional foul on Parker, 2 FT. 2/2. 92-95. :P Duncan steals, passes to Barry and misses th shot. Potapenko tries for three, misses it. Duncan gets the rebound and Seattle did an intentional on him. 5.2 seconds left. :) 2/2, 92-97. Radmanovic tries for the last for three, but RASHO blocks him !!! (Y)(Y)(Y) The game is over, the Spurs won ! Their first win in this preseason ! It's now 1-3 for them ! :D
Rashard Lewis scored 6pts, Radmanovic grabbed 1 rbd, Daniels did 3 assists. Duncan scored 19pts, grabbed 4rbds, Parker did 3 assists.
Some small stats :
Seattle : 5rbds (1 off. and 4 def.), 3 assists, 3 steals, no blks, 8 fouls, 7 TO, 11/17 FG (64,7%), 0/1 3PT FG (0%), 1/2 FT (50%).
San Antonio : 7rbds (3 off. and 4 def.), 6 assists, 5 steals, 1 blk, 3 fouls, 8 TO, 14/21 FG (66,7%), 0/2 3pts FG (0%), 7/9 FT (77,8%).

New Report : Image VS Image

(I am playing with Ben's new sliders :))

The Mavs showed us their new green jersey, it's quite strange to see them with green jerseys, it has been since 10 or 15 years... I forgot cuz I think I wasn't born or I was still a small baby :P .

Starting 5 for both teams :

San Antonio Spurs :

C - Rasho Nesterovic
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Bruce Bowen
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker

Dallas Mavericks :

C - Erick Dampier
PF - Dirk Nowitzki
SF - Michael Finley
SG - Marquis Daniels
PG - Jason Terry

THE matchup of the game :

Power Forward Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas) against Power Forward/Center Tim Duncan (San Antonio). With Dirk Nowitzki's outside play and his long shoots, he will be able to play some 1-on-1 against Tim. Tim Duncan is totally different, he has strength, amazing inside play, and he can shoot from the free-throw line. :)

Bruce Bowen has also got a serious opponent, Michael Finley. Bruce will have to guard him and it won't be easy !
Erick Dampier is also very strong, outstandig shot-blocker, good inside scoring, and rebounder. Nesterovic is IMO worse than him.

Let's now start the game ! 8-)

In the First quarter :

Nesterovic won the tip-off (phew ). Parker gets the ball, and dribbles Terry. He passes to Duncan, he miss the shot. Dampier gets the rebound, passes to Terry, shoots for a three ! But it doesn't go... Bowen grabs the rebound, passes to Ginobili. He waits for Duncan, he passes to him and Duncan passes to Nesterovic, and draws Finley's foul. Two FT for him. 0/2 for him, the game is actually defensive. 8:19 left and still no points. Dampier gets the rebound. Terry passes to Daniels, but Ginobili steals the pass. Parker gets the ball and waits for some inside play. Duncan tries a lay-up... but he can't adjust and drawed Dirk Nowitzki's first personal foul. Two FT for Duncan. Hope he'll make at least 1 of 2... Yes ! He did 1 of 2. Finally, 7:50 left, and 1-0 for Spurs. Terry passes to Nowitzki. He wants to play the 1-on-1. Duncan defends well but Nowitzki shoots a fade-away jump shot and made it. 1-2. Parker tries for his special but misses it. Dampier grabs the rebound, passes to Terry. He passes to Daniels, now for Nowitzki, and shoots a long 2 over Duncan who tried to block him. 1-4 for the Mavs. Whoa, what a play by Tony Parker. He passes to Ginobili for a 3 point shot. (Take a look at the "Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili" picture :)) Another basket for Nowitzki, he's really on fire tonight ! 4-6 for Mavs. Whoa... Again an amazing play by Parker ! He penetrates inside and immediately passes to Duncan for an open shot. 6-6. Dampier tries for a lay-up but Nesterovic blocks him ! Excellent block. The ball is still for the Mavs. Nowitzki gets the ball but this time, he didn't made the shot. Duncan and Parker defended well on him. Ginobili passes to Duncan, dunks over Terry but an Offensive foul is whistled. Terry misses the shot, the Spurs gets the rebound. Nesterovic against Nowitzki. Dampier helps him, Nesterovic tries for a hook-shot... He misses it, rebound for the Mavs. Whoa, Nesterovic is very aggressive, he wanted to block Finley but he finally got a foul. 2 of 2 on FT. I missed two shots, Finley scored a dunk. 6-10 for the Mavs. Turnover, Parker did a Backcourt Violation (). Parker steals the ball, passes to Duncan. He passes to Bowen and then for Parker. He shoots ! But Dampier blocks him ! And Shot Clock Violation now... Horry drawed rookie Devin Harris' offensive foul, and now, Time-Out called by the Spurs. Spurs lost the ball, but Bowen is here to steal the ball ! Devin Brown's lay-up is off target... Rebound for the Mavs, but Bowen steals the ball ! Barry gets the ball, Pick'n' Roll with Horry and shoots for a three ! It's in ! 9-10 and Time-out called by Dallas. No basket scored for the Mavericks, Nesterovic drawed Stackhouse's foul and is now on the line. 2 of 2 ! Finally it was a defensive quarter, 1st quarter's score was 11-12 for the Mavericks...

Some small stats (pics this time :)) :

1
2

Score at the end :

In the Second quarter :

At the beginning, Nowitzki was charging all players (even the Mavs) but Ginobili was the best, he drawed an offensive foul ! Duncan lost the ball, Nowitzki was a bit faster. Finley misses the shot. Spurs' ball. Duncan made an awesome shot ! A contact in mid-air on Nowitzki but Tim was able to adjust the shot ! What a play... Nowitzki did the same on Tim, but even better. He also drawed Duncan's foul, and made the FT. Duncan did the same as he did but this time on Finley. Dunk by Duncan !

[...] (Sorry I won't be able to tell as long as I said on the 1st quarter, I'm a bit ill so I'm quite tired...)
It was a quarter more offensive. Horry, with a 3 point shot, beats the buzzer-beater. At the end of the quarter, 30-27 for the Spurs.

Some small stats :

Key players at the half :

Score at the half :

In the Third quarter :

Tony Parker, for three. :) Parker scores the first basket of that 3rd quarter ! 33-27. Hahaha, aggressive block by Nesterovic (pic), no foul says the Ref. Parker tries for a three, but he's fouled. 2 of 3. Nowitzki charged Bowen but, no foul says the Ref... He scored a basket. And another three by Parker. It seems to be the "Parker-Quarter"... Brent Barry scores another three... 45-33 for the Spurs. Barry scored a fade-away (pic). 49-37 It's maybe the "Barry-time".... He scored another three. It's awesome ! I stopped scoring 3 pointers. I started to lose the ball, but it was alright, I was still scoring some baskets. DANG ! Awesome dunk by Rose, and 0.7 sec left. It is the end of the 3rd quarter, the Spurs lead by 14.

Some small stats :

1
2

Score at the end :

In the Fourth quarter :

Finally... I'm leading by 16. :o No, but 19. Guess who scored a three pointer ? Brent Barry ! :P Terry scored a lay-up. Udrih is sooo unlucky ! He can't even make such small shots ! Anyway, Massenburg drawed Dampier (I think)'s foul and is on the line. 1/2 ! Definitely contact on Terry... (pic) OK ! now the Starting 5 is back. Oh no ! Duncan did another foul ! His 4th... Parker is still awesome... The Mavs started their come back, they score a three point by Finley. 85-75 for the Spurs, 18,5 seconds left. End of the game !

Some small stats :

Houston Rockets(3-2) Will Try to Stop visiting San Antonio Spurs (2-3)

Yao Ming : "Yeah, we all know it'll be very hard even with McGrady. We watched San Antonio's previous game, against Dallas, and they were awesome, they totally cruised Dirk Nowitzki and co. I hope we'll get a good result at home."

Tony Parker : "If we win at Houston, we'll be able to have a good start in the regular season. If not, we'll have to crush our last Pre-season opponent, New Orleans, but this time, at the SBC Center. I think Manu Ginobili and I will have to stop McGrady. Duncan will stop Yao. "Pop" said that we'll start with Duncan at center so it'll be much easier to get rebounds, score points, and... to win the game ! If I am able to score some three pointers in that game, like I did against the Mavs, we'll win for sure."

Gregg Popovich : "The Houston Rockets were one of the best teams in the NBA last year. This year, they got last year's best scorer of the league, Tracy McGrady. We know it'll be harder than last year. Although they lost against Orlando at the TD Waterhouse Center 72-95, they beat the Heat and the Kings once. If they dominate, I'll have to change some strategies in defense and offense. I just created a new strategy for that game. If Manu can't stop T-Mac, I'll switch with TP."

Tonight's key match-up :

Yao vs Duncan ;
McGrady vs Ginobili and Parker.

Yao, the tallest center in the NBA, will have to beat Duncan before beating the Spurs. Yao is very young, and is really strong, with two ASG.
Duncan. Strength, inside scoring, rebound. Duncan can do that. One of the best PF of the league.
McGrady. He can do whatever he want, he's as strong as Kobe Bryant.
The duo Yao-McGrady is very strong, as "Pop" said.

Probable starters :

Houston Rockets :

C - Yao Ming
PF - Juwan Howard
SF - Jim Jackson
SG - Tracy McGrady
PG - Tyronn Lue

San Antonio Spurs :

C - Tim Duncan
PF - Radoslav Nesterovic
SF - Bruce Bowen
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker.

Game Recap

Image

In the First Quarter :

The match started at a very high quickness.
Duncan scored the first point with a fade-away jump shot at the buzzer.
McGrady answered with a three pointer. Tony Parker dribbled Juwan Howard and scored a lay-up. Yao scored an amazing dunnk. Nesterovic answered with a lay-up. Houston TOTALLY dominate me in rebounds. I thougth it'd be much easier with Duncan at center... Finally, after 11-22 for Houston, it's now 16-23... Barry made a three pointer and Rose caught a nice rebound.

In the Second Quarter :

San Antonio started the quarter very well. They started to catch rebounds, score points, block opponents, just positive ! The score is only 26-30 for the Rockets, that's quite excellent. And now, Parker and Duncan are back (Manu too). I was doing very well in rebounds... before Jim Jackson's three pointer. It shutted my mouth up. I did an awesome 10 consecutive shots made ! Duncan shot an awesome acrobatic shot (pic).

In the Third Quarter :

Puff, a bad start for me...
But ! I started to catch Houston up, with Duncan, Parker, Barry and Horry.
I grabbed all rebounds ! Amazing !
It was just crazy ! And I started to draw some fouls...
59-66, Manu is back. Darn, Lue score a three... But Duncan dunks over Sura   . Whoa, the Rockets are too strong...
But, Udrih started to make some three !
So at the end, 70-80 !

In the Fourth Quarter :

AWESOME, can't comment it.
TOTALLY AWESOME !!!
SO MANY 3 pointers....
Just see the score and you'll see !!!
115-115, 10 secs left.
Ohhhhh !!!!!
Tony Parker, what a shot !!! A 2 point shot, 117-115 !! 0.1 left, it's over !
That's San Antonio's 3rd consecutive won !!!!

Game Interviews and Highlights with NBA TV and NBA Action

Image

Interviews :

Tony Parker : "I still can't believe we won. This "buzzer" shot, these three pointers, the 4th quarter was totally incredible. Tim also helped us with some inside scoring. Yao played very well with his 33 pts, but that wasn't enough. Too bad for the Rockets and McGrady. The last preseason game against New Orleans will be great."

Tim Duncan : "We did an excellent game. Rookie Beno Udrih helped us with his three pointers. He did an awesome game this time. I think he'll Tony's substitute Point Guard. I did a good game with an excellent FG%, 11/15, 73,3%. Anyway, I'll practice my FT because it is really not good, I did a bad 1/6. I grabbed 10 rebounds, so it's very good."

Yao Ming : "That's a shame we lost. 117-115, with a shot "at the buzzer" made by Tony Parker. I think this guy will do an incredible season this year. My 33 points weren't enough, I don't know how many points McGrady made, but I think he didn't play a very good game..."

Image
Tim Duncan, twice MVP, with his 23 points and 10 rebounds, for a fade-away jump shot over Yao Ming.

Image
Yao Ming, two times in All-Star game, with Rookie Challenge included, with his 33 points, for a fade-away jump shot over Ginobili and Rasho Nesterovic.

Image
Tony Parker, one of the best Point Guard in the NBA. 5 assists. This time, he shoots a three in traffic over Lue and McGrady.

San Antonio Spurs (3-3) must win against New Orleans (3-4) to get a positive score at the end of Preseason games

Baron Davis : "Well, if the Spurs play as well as they did against the Rockets, it'll be very hard. We'll have to guard both Parker and Duncan. We must grab rebounds, take our time to make some baskets. I'll guard Tony Parker by myself. I hope Jamaal will be able to guard Tim Duncan well."

Tony Parker : "Yeah, against Baron Davis. It'll be much harder against him than against Rocket Tyronn Lue. He is fast, can do crossovers, three pointers, dunks. He's probably one of the best Point guard in the NBA. But even if I'm not as good as him, I'll be able to guard him, and score points, give assists, and grab rebounds. If I'm as lucky as against Houston, we'll crush them and get our 4th win."

Tim Duncan : "We are at home, we must win. I'll probably play at center, like I did against Houston. I talked about that with "Pop" and he agrees with me, Jamaal Magloire is a strong opponent. I hope we'll be able to score outside and inside points. I must be able to guard Magloire well."

Gregg Popovich : "I didn't use my strategy against Houston, maybe I'll use it against the Hornets, I don't know yet. But Tony Parker and Tim Duncan will have a serious job against Baron Davis and Jamaal Magloire, both in the All Star Game last year. We must win. That's all I will say."

Jamaal Magloire : "Tim Duncan, what will I be able to do against him ? I'll see when I'll play. I must do some passes to my partners and play the best basket-ball I can do. I hope we'll be able win our 4th victory."

Tonight's key match-up :

Magloire vs Duncan
Davis vs Parker.

Magloire, excellent center, faster than Shaq and Duncan, can shoot from the FT line.
Duncan. Strength, inside scoring, rebound. Duncan can do that. One of the best PF of the league. Twice MVP, he's also many times in the All-Star Game.
Baron Davis, a bit slower than Tony Parker. But he's one of the best PG in NBA, can shoot 3, dunk.
Parker, the fastest player in NBA, with Iverson. He can shoot, lay-up, pass, rebound.

Probable starters :

San Antonio Spurs :

C - Tim Duncan
PF - Radoslav Nesterovic
SF - Bruce Bowen
SG - Emanuel Ginobili
PG - Tony Parker.

New Orleans Hornets :

C - Jamaal Magloire
PF - P.J. Brown
SF - George Lynch
SG - David Wesley
PG - Baron Davis.
