GAME 5 - Raptors Record = 4-0

1st Quarter

The Knicks opened up the 1st quarter by quickly jumping out to a 16-5 lead within minutes. But then Vince Carter got his 2nd foul and was replaced by Kareem Rush. The Knicks lost the lead as fast as they got it. The Raptors were lead by Josh Childress and Rafer Alston on offense with 10 points a peice in the 1st quarter and Kareem Rush also added 9 points. The Raptors were lead on defense by Loren Woods who had 2 blocks. The Raptors finished off the 1st quarter strong, taking a 4 point lead into the 2nd Quarter.

2nd Quarter

The Raptors played the 2nd Quarter with intensity. They got to the line, hit shots, got steals, got blocks, but like the 1st Quarter they didn't rebound much. But that didn't prove costly as the Raptors trampled the Knicks in the 2nd Quarter out scoring them 31-22. The Raptors were lead on offense by Rafer Alston, Liberal Almeida and Vince Carter who scored 8 points each and by Donyell Marshall who added 7 points. Rafael Araujo lead the defense with his 3 2nd Quarter blocks, and also by Donyell Marshall who had 2 blocks in the Quarter. Now here are some 1st Half highlights. Enjoy the Haltime Break and the rest of the game.

3rd Quarter

The Raptors started the 3rd Quarter with a 13 point lead and made it bigger early on, but the Knicks fought back harder and harder but they couldn't make up for the mistakes they made in the 1st Half, and they would have to settle with playing at the level that the Raptors were playing, and couldn't muster any more. The Raptors were lead on offense by Rafer Alston with his 12 points in the 3rd, and also by Vince Carter who scored 7 in the Quarter. The Raptors Chris Bosh played defense like a mad man and was blocking anything, he lead the Raptors defense with his 4 blocks in the Quarter, all of those blocks coming against his former teammate Jerome "JYD' Williams. The Raptors take a 14 point lead into the last Quarter.

4th Quarter

The Raptors came out of the gate firing on all cylinders and blew the Knicks out of the water. The Raptors played an uptempo 4th Quarter and was awarded with many, many fast break oppertunities and take took advantage of all of them. Vince Carter showed that he was still a highlight reel by pulling off spectacular slams on the fast break in the 4th Quarter. The Raptors were lead on offense by Liberal Almeida who had 12 points in the quarter and Vince Carter also added in 10 points of his own. The Raptors were lead on defense by Kareem Rush who had 3 steals in the Quarter and all of his steals lead to fast break points by Vince Carter. The Raptors took this one easily by outscoring the Knicks 36-25 in the 4th Quarter. We hope you have enjoyed yourself for this extravagent game, and we hope you can join us next time. Now here are the highlights from the 2nd Half.

Nice Dynasty man, good pics.

I only have one gripe though, and thats that VC's numbers are pretty poor, he seems to be only averaging about 1 ast and 1 reb a game.

But yeah great dynasty, i look foward to the charity game, are you gonna make some nice Jeresy's?

Also, Vince Carters numbers are low cuz the pg always controls the ball on my team, and if VC drives he goes and scores, he doesnt dish out. Ill try to get his stats up, ill see wut i can do. Hope you continue to enjoy my dynasty.

Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards

Postby e.z.o on Wed Sep 08, 2004 2:04 pm

Game 6

1st Quarter

The Wizards jumped out to a n early lead and were confident about it. Unfortunately for the Wizards, the Raptors faught back and made it a close game. Although the Wizards didn't out play the Raptors they still hung on for a lead at the end of the 1st. The Raptors simply couldn't shoot as well as the Wizards. The Raptors top offensive threat in the 1st was Vince Carter and Rafer Alston who each added 9 points. The Raptors top defensive player was Loren Woods who had 1 block and 4 defensive rebounds. The Raptors trail the Wizards by 4 going into the 2nd Quarter.

2nd Quarter

The Raptors played the 2nd Quarter with what looked like to be no confidence, as they were just flat. The Wizards put a big whoppin' on them, and it showed on the stats and on the court. The Raptors couldn't stop neither Antawn Jamison nor Gilbert Arenas. Toronto was lucky to be down by only 14 points going into the 3rd. Toronto's best offensive player in the 2nd was Donyell Marshall who scored 10 points and Liberal Almeida who managed 7 points. The Raptors best defensive player was Liberal Almeida with 1 def.reb and 1 block, and also Donyell Marshall with 2 def.reb. Hope you enjoyed the 1st Half, so lets now check out some 1st Half highlights.

3rd Quarter

The Raptors started the 3rd down by 14 points, and just poured their hearts out into their game, but were unable to mount a comeback. The Raptors played like an All-Star team that got along with each other on offense, but the Wizards played great individual offense led once again by Jamison and Arenas. Toronto was still unable to find a way to stop either of them. The Raptors best offensive player of the 3rd was Loren Woods with 9 points in the 3rd. Toronto's best defensive player was Loren Woods with 4 def.reb and 1 block. Keep your eyes peeled to the 4th Quarter, as the Raptors try to make a comeback.

4th Quarter

The Toronto Raptors started the 4th trailing, but worked hard and found themselves only down by 3 within a minute into the 4th. The Raptors managed to fight their way back and tie it up with a couple minutes to go. From that point the game was extremely even. Although the Raptors pushed hard, they were unable to pull out the victory and fell to the hands of the Wizards in a disapointing 1st lose all season and also it was at home. Hope you enjoyed this intense game, and join next time. Now enjoy some 2nd Half highlights.

Toronto Raptors Key Players
Chris Bosh : 14pts, 13reb, 4blk, 1ast
Rafer Alston : 15pts, 7ast, 4stl, 4reb
Loren Woods : 9pts, 11reb, 2blk, 1 ast
Vince Carter : 18pts, 3ast, 1stl, 2blk, 2reb
Liberal Almeida : 16pts, 2reb,3blk, 2stl, 1ast

The Toronto Raptors have lost their first game of the year and were extremely disappointed after the game. Sam Mitchell had something to say, and you can check it out here.

The Blazers are up next on the Raptors schedule. Stay tuned for the highlights.

GAME 7

Image

1st Quarter

The 1st Quarter was evenly matched as far as points are concerned. The Raptors dominated every other aspect of the game especially in rebounding where they outrebounded the Blazers 11 to 5 in the Quarter. The Raptors offensive player of the quarter was Rafer Alston with 10 points and 6 assists while Chris Bosh was also dominant on the offensive end with 10 points and 4 off.rebounds. The Raptors defensive player of the quarter was Liberal Almeida who had 1 block and 3 def.rebounds. The Raptors take a 2 point lead into the second.

2nd Quarter

The Blazers went into the 2nd down by 2 points and didn't really show any enthusiasm towards changing that. The Raptors finished the Quarter on top by their superior play, and they were also pumped up by the defense. The Raptors finished off the half by being up by 5 points. Toronto's offensive player of the 2nd was Donyell Marshall with 9 points and 2 off.rebounds, and Delonte West also played great offense by pitching in with his 4 points and 5 assists. The Raptors defensive player of the Quarter was Loren Woods he had 3 def.rebounds and 2 blocks. Here are the highlights from the 1st half. Enjoy the rest of the game.

Image

3rd Quarter

The 2nd Half started by the Raptors totally dominated the Blazers and it showed in every aspect of the game. The Raptors showed their true colours and creamed the Blazers in the 3rd by stretching a 5 point lead into a 15 point lead. The Raptors top offensive players were Rafer Alston and Chris Bosh who each poured in 9 points and Alston added in another 8 assists, Toronto's top defensive player was Chris Bosh who got 1 def.rebound and 3 blocks. The Raptors try to finish off the Blazers as they take a 15 point lead into the final stages.

4th Quarter

The Raptors finished the game just like they started it, on fire and on top. They had their downfalls in the 4th but the Blazers had more and so the Raptors came on top with a 19 point victory that came just 1 game after losing to the Washington Wizards. The Raptors offensive player of the 4th was Liberal Almeida who had 11 points in the quarter, and Toronto's top defender in the 4th was Jerome Moiso who got 3 def.redounds, 2 steals and 1 block in the quarter. Thank You for joining us here, and remember that you are welcome any time. Now watch these 2nd Half highlights and come back next time. Enjoy.

It's a cool idea but personally I had to look at the starting line-ups about 5 times before I knew them. It is new and interesting but it gets kind of annoying. If you can make it so we have at least 5-10 seconds to look at everything then it would be better. Other than that keep up the good work.

GAME 8

Image

1st Quarter

The game started the same way it ended, being close. The Raptors didn't miss much as most of their points came downlow. The 1st didn't show too much defense but not a whole lot of offense either. After the 1st the Raptors find themselves up by 5 points. Rafael Araujo was the Raptors offensive player of the quarter with 12 points and 2 off.reb, while Chris Bosh was the defensive player of the quarter grabbing 3 def.reb and getting 1 block.

2nd Quarter

The 76ers found themselves down by 5 at the start of the 2nd. But the Raptors lead didn't last very long as the Sixers took advantage of the Raptors mistakes. The Sixers were able to build up a 6 point lead, but the Raptors were able to bring it back down 1 at the end of the half. Delonte West was the Raptors offensive player of the 2nd with his 8 points and 1 assist. Donyell Marshall with the Raptors defensive player of the 2nd, pitching in with 4 def.reb and 1 block. Enjoy the 2nd Half as well as these 1st Half highlights.

Image

3rd Quarter

The 2nd Half started with the Raptors being down by 1 due to their second stringers being unable to control the lead and do something on offense. The Raptors continued to blow and were lucky to even score 10 points. The Sixers dominated the quarter and the Raptors found themselves down by 16 points after 3 and 6 minutes away from their 2nd loss of the season. The Raptors played soo pathetic that they didn't have any strong players in the quarter at all. Catch the 4th and see if the Raptors can fight their way back, but don't be surprised if they do or don't.

4th Quarter

The Raptors found themselves in a huge whole and had to dig their way out. The Raptors were able to bring it closer by scoring and playing defense. But unfortunately fot the Raptors, it was too little, too late and that they didn't have that kind of spark in them. The Raptors lost by 8 points and suffered just their 2 loss of the season. The Raptors offensive player of the quarter was Jerome Moiso who had 14 points and 2 off.reb in the 4th. Jerome Moiso was also Toronto's defensive player of the quarter with 1 def.reb and 1 block. Thank You for joining us here on the NLSC forums and join us next time. And Enjoy the 2nd Half highlights.

Image

Toronto Raptors Top Performers:
Rafael Araujo : 18pts, 6reb and 1blk
Jerome Moiso : 14pts, 3reb and 1blk in 6min
Rafer Alston : 4pts, 8ast and 4stl
Chris Bosh : 8pts, 6reb and 1blk

The Sonics are up next on the Raptors schedule. Stay tuned for the highlights.

GAME 9

Image

1st Quarter

The 1st was a high tempo one at that, and showed lots of speed and agility. The 1st was really close and its hard to tell these two teams apart. None the less, after the first the Raptors find themsleves trailing 18 to 14. The Raptors player of the quarter was Chris Bosh who had 6 points, 1 rebound and 2 blocks. Enjoy the highlights from the 1st Quarter.

Image

2nd Quarter

The Raptors went into the 2nd down by 4, and left down by 12 at the half. The Raptors showed some great defensive stops but were unfortunately unable to do the same on offense. The Raptors player of the quarter was Jerome Moiso who had 5 points, 2 rebounds and 4 blocks in the 2nd quarter alone. Enjoy the 2nd Quarter highlights and get ready for the start of the 2nd Half.

Image

3rd Quarter

The Sonics began the half up by 12, but let the Raptors back in it a little bit. The Raptors were able to keep pushing point for point and got 3 points (more than the Sonics) on the Sonics in the 3rd and are down by 9 now at the end of the 3rd. The Raptors player of the quarter was Rafer Alston with 8 points, 2 assists and 3 rebounds. Here are the 3rd Quarter highlights.
Image

4th Quarter

The 4th Quarter went down to the wire as the Sonics beat out the Raptors 76 to 75. The Raptors have found themselves slipping as of late and are now 6-3. The Raptors player of the quarter was Jerome Moiso who had 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 blocks and 1 steal in the 4th but it was not enough. Thank You for joining us here on the NLSC forums and enjoy the rest of the highlights.

Raptors have announced two trades. Here's the rundown:

1st Trade:
To Raptors: Mickael Pietrus
To Warriors: Sebastien Telfair

2nd Trade:
To Kings: Josh Childress, Kirk Snyder and Loren Woods
To Raptors: Peja Stojakovic
To Jazz: Qyntel Woods and Matt Bonner

Raptors GM had this to say about the deal:

Image"I feel that these changes were needed, as the team was slowly falling and we needed to let go of some young and inconsistent players for Peja who is a player with experience and we hope that he will help Vince provide leadership."

Raptors Head Coach Sam Mitchell had this to say about the deal:

Image"I'm now in the zone, I feel like we can win it all. Even though we let go of a big part of our future big men go in Matt Bonner and Loren Woods, I like how our team still looks, as we also have Pape Sow now who will be taking Loren's place as backup C. I feel that we are much stronger as a team, and even though we lost Telfair and both Woods, we still have an outstanding bench with Liberal, Kareem, Mickael, Delonte, Pape, Moiso and of course Donyell. We shall see what this brings our team, and we are hoping that it is good fortune."

I have decided to call it quits on my Dynasty as I am having many problems with the pictures. I will be playing 5 more games so I will be able to give Honor Glow my pstat and gstat files for the Birdie Board, but I will not be posting the screens. At the end of the five games I will update the scores and my final record and then it is over. An added reason for me finishing is also because of Live 2005 coming out shortly. Thank You to everyone that watched and posted in my thread. If I get 05 for computer then I will do a new dynasty. So look out for my Toronto Raptors NBA Live 2005 Dynasty. Once again, Thank You to everyone that contributed by watching or posting.
