Round 2 - Game 3 - Magic (2) @ Pacers (6)
Magic blow out Pacers at Indiana to lead series 3:0
Orlando made a big statement to win the Eastern Conference Semifinals by blowing out the Indiana Pacers 115:79 in their own stadium. The Magic now lead the series 3:0 and have a chance to sweep the Pacers in the second round just like they did with the Pistons in the first round.
For the Magic it was once again Dwight Howard who determined the Game especially in the first half. Howard had 29 points and 16 boards in only 29 minutes playing time. The Magic starters were able to take a rest in the second half because of the big margin Orlando already gained in the first 24 minutes.
Then it was Courtney Lee who stepped up from the bench scoring 25 points to manage the lead and destroy the Pacers at their own building.
The Pacers game was a disaster this time, noone was able to take charge and lead the team to a run. Danny Granger shot only 6-28 from the field to seal the shameful homeloss for the Pacers.
With this huge blow the Pacers are not expected to rise again, the next chance to rehabilitate is their second and maybe last home game of this series.

Round 2 - Game 4 - Magic (2) @ Pacers (6) - [4:0]
Magic made another SWEEP to face the Heat in the 2012 Conference Finals
Orlando could make an easy finish with the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semis. The Magic now won 10 Games in a row and became the favourite to win the Eastern Conference.
Dwight Howard once again dominated the Game at will scoring 24 points and 18 boards. A solid performance by Courtney Lee and Ryan Anderson from the bench sealed the four Game sweep over the Pacers.
The Pacers who had an average season but came out strong against the Celtics were not able to find an answer against the Magic. Danny Granger was not able to fill out his superstar role, in Game 4 he shot only 11-33 from the field. Other players like Paul George or David West have not been able to step in.
The Magic are now going to face the Miami Heat who won 64-18 Games in the regular season and defeated the Bobcats (4:1) and Chicago Bulls (4:1) in a superior manner.
This is going to be the showdown of the East and maybe an earlier NBA Final. Many experts agree the team that wins the East is going to win the title this year.

Round 3 - Game 1 - Magic (2) @ Heat (1) - [0:1]
Heat take Game 1 in Overtime (0:1)
The Miami Heat defended their homecourt by winning over the Orlando Magic 114-111 in overtime. For the Magic it was the first loss in the 2012 NBA Playoffs and the Heat retrieve their favorite status to win it all this year.
Despite coming up strong in all four quarters the Magic were not able to keep the pace up in overtime. Dwyane Wade killed Orlando almost single-handed, Wade scored 15 of his 40 points in overtime!
Wade and Bosh need to step in when LeBron James struggeled with his shooting. James hit only 7-22 from the field but he was able to contribute on the boards grabbing 11 rebounds.
Dwight Howard and Glen Davis both had a great night. Howard's 36 points and Davis' 21 almost secured the victory in Miami, but the Magic had no answer to Dwyane Wade in overtime.

Round 3 - Game 2 - Magic (2) @ Heat (1) - [0:2]
Heat win Game 2 to lead series 2:0 !
The Orlando Magic were close to tie the series but LeBron James made the important layup to win the Game 113-111. The score was tied at 111 as Raymond Felton went to the Freethrow-Line and had the opportunity to make it a 2 point game...
Unfortunately Felton missed both Freethrows, Haslem was able to grab the rebound and send LeBron James on his way to make the 113-111 winning bucket. LeBron James had one of his incredible nights showing no mercy to the Magic, James scored 35 points shooting 16-28 from the field. In addition to that a huge output from Mario Chalmers, Chalmers scored 24 points shooting 6 out of 10 from outside.
For the Magic it was once again Dwight Howard, Glen Davis and Courtney Lee who held the game close until the end. Raymond Felton also scored 16 points, but his failure at the Line could come back to harm the Magic in this series.
After two games the Magic trail 0:2 and have to win Game 3 at Orlando to make it at least a series. The odds are against Orlando, but its not over yet. The Magic beat the Heat 3 out of 4 times in the regular season, the next two Games are in Orlando no need to cut and run.

Conference Finals - Game 3 - Heat (1) @ Magic (2) - [2:1]
Magic win Game 3 to make it a series!
The Olando Magic defeated the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Amway Center by 2 points. A big contribution went to Dwight Howard who scored 34 points 14 boards and 3 assists, he also was someone else from the line hitting 8-12 Freethrows.
The other piece for the victory was the outstanding performance by Glen Davis. Davis scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to make his first double double in this years playoffs.
On the other side it was LeBron James with 26 points and 12 rebounds but only 11-29 shooting from the field. Dwyane Wade booked 21 points, Chalmers 17 and Mike Miller 12 points. The Heat committed many fouls and send the Magic to the line very often. Chris Bosh was in early foul trouble so the Heat needed to go smaller which led to easy points for Howard and Davis.
With this win and the home court advantage in the next game the Magic are back in this series to compete with Miami. James and Wade need a better output of their shots and more help from the other team members to defeat Orlando in Game 4.

Conference Finals - Game 4 - Heat (1) @ Magic (2) - [2:2]
Orlando ties series 2:2 !
The Olando Magic also won the second home Game of the Conference Finals to tie the series 2:2. With a 10 point margin based on a great first half performance the Heat were not able to keep up with the Magic.
Dwight Howard (23 pts) was again the best scorer of the Magic squad followed by T-Will (17 pts) and Courtney Lee (16 pts). Howard made 10 out of 15 from the field to emphasize his outstanding offensive performance in this years playoffs.
For the Heat it was Dwyane Wade who tried to keep Miami on the track with 32 points. The Heats bench scored only 13 points which was by far not enough to hold on to the Magic.
Now the series is tied, which makes it a 3 Game series for both teams. The Magic need to grab at least one win in Miami to advance to the 2012 NBA Finals.
