9th and 1st Pick in the draft and free agency gives you plenty of opportunities to improve. Smith + Marbury= TENSION!!

not sure why that Julian guy was complaining about losing his scrubs when he has two top ten picks (including 1st pick) in the draft; anyway, you should be able to seriously upgrade your roster now with draft picks and in free agency and not end up at the bottom of the barrel, so that's good

Thanks man

I'm that Julian guy, I want my team to stick together for some chemistry. :D

I know and with some big players in the free agent pool we will have a major improvement

The Brooklyn Ballers got lucky on balls

Image

The Brooklyn Ballers have won the rights for the first pick of the 2010 NBA Draft. They have the best chance out of the 14 lottery team to win. They also got the first round pick of the Utah Jazz which fell to the ninth pick.

"Well I was really upset when the Utah's pick did not get any higher but that all change when we got the first pick." Julian said.

Every team got to it's place but it's only the Minnesota Timberwolves Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors who switch places. Houston moves up to the 2nd pick, Golden State got the third pick and Minnesota fell to the fourth pick.

Bad for Ballers, they lost Brian Cook and D-Miles... they played nice.
FA are great...
Boyk retires. Kandi finished his bad career. Jamison? He would play 2-3 years.

Re: Moving to Brooklyn|Chapter 5 - Surprises

Mon Jun 14, 2010 4:26 pm

Chapter 5

“Good evening everybody. I’m Ernie Johnson together with Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith here to discuss the 2010 NBA Draft.”

“The Brooklyn Ballers got the first pick of the draft, what are your thoughts Charles?” EJ said.

“They definitely need a powerforward or a center, I think it will be good if they pick Alejando Fortsen. He is similar to Dwight but I think he can be better.”

“Wait so you mean they will pass on one of the best talent in draft, Shelton Smith. You’re crazy Charles.” Kenny said.

“Well he is a great player but it’s rare to have a great big man on your team.” Charles said.

“Well we can find out who will the Ballers pick, here is the commissioner to announce the first pick.” EJ said.

“With the first pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, the Brooklyn Ballers select… Shelton Smith.”

“Well there you have it, Shelton Smith is first pick of the 2010 Draft. Let’s hear what the kid will say.” EJ said.

“First of all, I would like to thanks the Ballers association for picking me. They sure made a great choice, I’m telling the whole world right now that if I don’t give Brooklyn it’s first ring then call me a bust. That is all.” Smith said then he waves to the fans.

“Wow a very confident player.” EJ said.

“I’d say a very cocky player, I don’t like this move by the Ballers.” Charles said.

“Well I think you will like the next move of the Ballers, I just received the news that Lebron James have agreed to play in Brooklyn.” Kenny said.

“Now that is a great move, I wonder how will Shit react to this move now that he is not the main man of the team.” Charles said.

“Wait, who is Shit?” EJ asked.

“Shelton Smith obviously, his name is close to it and so is his attitude.” Charles said.

“Okay we do have different opinions, but I think we all on the same page here when I said that this upcoming season will be full of surprises.” Kenny said.

“You got that right, I got a feeling that there are more moves to come here in the 2010 NBA Draft. So you better stay tune.” EJ said.

Smith looking at his new home

Ballers made Smith number 1

Shelton Smith made history as he was the very first pick of the franchise Brooklyn Ballers. The player born from Brazil drew comparisons from Grant Hill.

But his night was cut off when the news of Lebron James signing to the Ballers was announced. The Ballers also picked center Lee Davies as their 9th pick.

The Rockets picked Noah Menendez with the second pick. Noah is a powerforward who reportedly did a nice workout with the Rockets.

The Warriors picked Marty Lynch as the third pick, Marty is an athletic 7'0 footer who can throw it down effortlessly. Maybe with this move the Warriors are planning to change their high octane offense to something more winnable.

The Wolves picked Shawnelle Redondo with the fourth pick. He skills are mostly compared to the great Michael Jordan.

Kanioridis a point guard from Turkey? In my franchise he is an undersized PF from Greece. I love how they recycle names. Great set-up, Dare. I'm glad to see you're getting moral support from so many.
