Lets get the Draft Started!
David Stern: With the Number 1 pick, the Washington Wizards pick Augustine Ashmore from UCLA.
Stephen A. Smith: Yup, this one makes sense. Washington has to 2 top 5 picks and they want to gaurentee themselves the big man. OJ would be a better pick now, but down the line Ashmore will be a better player.

Blockbuster Trades
Since the Raptors surprisingly aquired OJ Mayo, Calderon became expendable. So he is shipped out to play with his Spanish teammate Pau in return the Raptors got Damon Stoudamire (expiring contract) and Hakim Warrick (expiring contract).
